It works well, but the double sided tape does NOT provide for a snug tight fit. The tape attached to the camper side very well, but the other side attached to the device is loose fitting

Lets me know which side of the trailer needs adjustment blocks. Use rocker adjusting blocks, so flip Quick Level out, look in rear view mirror and back up until green lights flash to know trailer is level left to right. If you mount the leveler far enough forward, just swing the leveler further out to adjust the trailer with the trailer jack. With a push of a button, the leveler can be removed from the mount, so it can be stored away from theft.

I really wanted to like this product. It is such a great idea. However, the design of the mounting bracket is terrible. After I leveled my 5th wheel front to back and side to side, I attached the mounting bracket per the instructions. Front to back works just fine. But when I rotate the Smart level 90' to check it side to side, it was way off. The problem is that the detachable bracket is so flimsy that when the weight of the level is at a 90' angle, it drops down about a 16th of an inch showing that the trailer is not level. I wrote to Hopkins customer support and explained the problem and this is a quote from the email I got back: "You should be able to tighten the screws enough for the mount to be secure. If it is sagging you can try shimming the mount.ThanksTech Support"I guess that since this is the solution, I made a shim and got the thing to work as it should. It just seems that it should work without rigging it or adding additional pieces to it. Very disappointed.

Easy to see from the drivers seat. Easy to install.

Nice device. Makes leveling your camper much easier. My only issue was in mounting it. If you have a smooth sided trailer it should be a breeze. HOWEVER...if your camper is the corrugated metal type be prepared to do some adjusting with washers. Took me around 20 minutes to get it mounted so it finally was level in all directions. Roll into campsite, swing it out and see how far off you are side to side. Once you get your leveling devices placed under your wheels simply swing the device into its next position, disconnect your trailer form your tow vehicle and use the device to set your front to back levelness. After using it a few times it will become second nature to you. Oh. It is removable so once you get your rig set up in your campsite just pop it off and place somewhere secure.

This worked out great. I have only used it a couple of times but I have no complaints. Very neat concept. I mounted mine on the drivers side of the fifth wheel and can see it perfectly in the mirror. Use it to level side to side then fold it flat against the 5'er while unhooking from truck to level front to back. You can also remove the leveler from the mounting bracket if you want to protect it. I remove mine after use and store in the storage compartment of the RV until I need it again. The only thing that would work better is if I had auto levelers which are very costly. This is a cheap way to lessen my frustration and setup time. Just make sure you have it perfectly level when you install the bracket.

It did not work for us. Impossible to get the installation precise and to get it to stay that way. May be fine if you're not super picky about it but more trouble than it's worth.

Install was easy. Camper was already level, and the slide was out. The product only really works for front to back leveling if you install as directed. Like many other reviews, the product drops when extended, and doesn't remain in its installed position. This causes it to show that you're not level, which is incorrect.The problem is that front to back leveling really isn't tough. It's side to side that;s usually the struggle, and if this product worked it would make that process easier as you wouldn't have to keep checking a level inside the camper.My solution is going to be to install it on the front of the camper instead, and just use it for side to side leveling. I've got some new adhesive on order, and the product only really works when it's sitting in the holder. I didn't want to have to try and shim it to make it work, and I definitely didn't want to add holes to the camper by screwing it in. An "H" shaped mounting bracket may be all that's needed to fix this issue, as it would support some of the weight when the unit is extended. It currently has no support on the hinged side, which seems to be the cause of this issue.

it wobbles enough to throw off the reading but does work. also if you leave it attached while driving it opens and is then subject to hi wind force. But it works well enough

Once you can get securely mounted it is quick and easy to use

Just got to install it on my motor home, it was accurate. No hassle and easy to use.
