With mattresses it's too easy to love or hate in just a few days, you need time. We've been after a new mattress for a little while but the wife's too tightfisted. I did my research online and realised pocket sprung is the way to go, unfotunatley they're quite a lot more expensive than regular coil spring. Saw this for just £149 and thought it too good to be true, but 'saved for later' just in case I couldn't find it again. Spent a good month after that on every bed site there is. All the so called bargains, the sales with mattresses reduced from £1600 to just £600, the latest thing from the States available on simple payment terms, all these didn't look a patch on this on this one. The problem was, ordering a mattress online. Surely you need to at least lie on it before buying? But the mattresses in the shops that looked just the same as this one are 4 times the price. I decided to man up and to hell with what the wife would say. By the time I'd plucked up the courage to go back and order it had gone up in price by £20. Delivery was fine, arrived on time, driver had no problem finding us. He helped me into the house with it (oh yes it's big, not one of these 'rolled up in a box efforts, this is a real mattress) and away he went. We dragged it upstairs and flumped it on to the bedframe. First thing the moaning wife said "it's slightly bigger than the description" - yes by about 2 or 3 cm's at most! Anyway, getting to the point, bedtime. You know that feeling in deep snow when you can fall backward and there's that whumph sound? Well that's this mattress. At first you think it's soft, but that's only the very top layer. Then you realise how solid it is. Medium firm is exactly how I'd describe it. Pure luxury. I still can't work out why it's on sale so cheaply. If it had been advertised as 'reduced to £800' and you bought it, you'd be thinking you'd got the bargain of the year. Under £200?!? If you're considering a new mattress just get one ordered. It'll be the best thing you'll buy this year I guarantee it. ### ⭐ The correct product information. *by C***N on 26 December 2023* The description of the product implies that there are 3000 pocket springs and the brand is as per the description, however the product that was delivered has 1000 springs and the make and model is different to what's advertised. I believe the wrong product was delivered (all be it later than expected) but Sleep Factory said I had received the right product by a manufacturer that is not advertised in their description...so one of is incorrect. If it as they have communicated in their correspondence to me then it can be purchased for a cheaper price (by £50) elsewhere via Amazon.Only positive note is that they respond to me promptly. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Matress *by M***. on 23 May 2025* Very disappointed. The picture shows a thick matress . Mine is only 4 inch thick .
