I have tried this mix with both milk and just water and either way it has a smooth flavor and not as "vegetative" as some green teas that I have consumed. It does make a point to explain not to use boiling water so for the best flavor/taste make sure you aren't using boiling water. I liked it so much I'm going to purchase a larger container.
