Rasta ImpostaBanana Bunting

This costume is adorable! Our 10-week old baby wore it to match his father who was wearing the adult version. The fit was big but we expect to get a year or more of use out of it. The material is soft and the baby was perfectly happy inside it. Very easy to take on and off.

the fabric was on the banana WAS on the thin side, but that's what I was expecting for the price, really. My 2.5month old was swimming a bit in there, but nothing I couldn't fix with some warm layers and crumpled up tissue paper to stuff up the ends. Very cute result!

Perfect fit, the head or bottom on the banana doesn’t stand on it’s down but that didn’t matter, you can still tell she was a banana, esp with me dressed as a monkey! So cute, simple and she seemed comfortable in it, didn’t get any complaints!

When I took the costume out of the bag it smelled toxic and so did the bag. I am on my third time washing it. It looks like it would be pretty cute but I won’t be putting my daughter in this costume unless the nasty chemical smell is gone. Even the bag it was in smells. I set it on a stack of towels when I took the banana costume out of the bag and not the top towel smells awful! I absolutely do not recommend this product.

I bought this about a month ago when it cost $20 or so dollars - wanted my then 5 mo. old son to be a banana, and match his older 2.5 yr old brother, a monkey :P however, upon inspecting the package, it turns out the costume is kind of a thin flimsy polyester material (I'm afraid if the baby stretches it might rip)... the velcro is only 4 patches along the seam so when the baby sits up, it bunches out exposing what he's wearing inside. It would have been better w/ a zipper. Anyway, not very substantial fabric for what I paid. Otherwise, yes, it's a banana outfit and a bit snug for my now 6 mo. old - looks like it could be an easy-to-sew item. Make sure you don't pay more than $10 or so for this item. I think you can buy better quality (fabric, thickness, design) elsewhere on sale. Unfortunately I opened the package so I can't return it.

Adorable! Fit my 5 month old perfectly. Very thin fabric but that was perfect for Texas. She was not uncomfortable and was able to nap in it.

So cute and easy to put on your little one!Pros: This is such a cute outfit - and easy to put on! It velcros down the front so you can just place your little guy (or girl!) in it and fasten it on top of anything (even something heavy) in case it's a cold Halloween.Cons: A little thin so make sure you bundle them up underneath unless you live in Miami :)

Loved this banana costume for my 6 month old; easy to put on and soft material. Closure is Velcro (a zipper may have been nice) but, to take a couple of pictures, not a big deal!
