BAZIC Ballpoint Pen Palm Mini Pens w/Key Ring, Black Ink 1.0 mm Bold Point Smooth Writing, for Office School Teacher (5/Pack), 3-Packs

Didn’t take long for mine to break the piece that holds the ball and chain making it only good for a small pen and not for my lanyard.

The 'Key chain' part of this product is pretty much a no go as the loop at the top of the cap is very flimsy and will break off rather quickly and the cap pops off really easily.Also the cap needs to be twice as long as putting the cap on the back of the pen just barely increases the pens length long enough to be used to write with, having the cap an extra inch long would have made the pen much easier to write with.The amount of ink left in the inkwell in the pen is purposely hidden by having the tube made of white plastic instead of being transparent, as someone who works in the plastics industry it cost more to use white color for a product than using cheaper regular clear Polypropelyne without it so why they chose to spend extra on this is beyond maddening when it obscures how much ink is left in the pen , AAARG!The ink tube inside the pen is insanely thin to the point of ubsurdity.I found the tiny plumbers chain to be rather cute and linked a few of them together to make a interesting if quirky bracelet.

I have this pen clipped to my work badge and use it all the time instead of searching through my scrubs or the desk when I need a pen. It’s not a bad pen to hold, but it would be nicer if it was a little fatter.Like everyone else says, the listing and pictures show 3 packs of 6 pens each. What you get is 3 pack of 5 pens each, so you get 15 instead of 18 pens. Not a big deal for me because I expect 15 pens to last me awhile, but I firmly believe in truth in advertising. That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.Amazon or Palm - Please change the listing and picture to reflect what you send!

I am a student, and generally on the go a lot of the time. I originally wanted a keychain pen because I was a liquor merchandiser, and needed a pen handy to scribble my lists on the job. I ended up first buying the  Nite Ize Inka Mobile Pen and Stylus (IMP-M1-R7) . This pen isn't particularly stylish but it had a screw in cap on both sides to prevent it from coming off the clip structure which was nice. I would end up snagging the pen on something in a hurry while I was out and about and lost at least two of them. For $7 a pop, not a huge deal. I never used the stylus feature.I then went to the  True Utility TU246 TelePen Telescoping Key Ring Pen with 3 Refills . This pen is telescoping, which is nice because it takes up less space on your keychain. The drawback with telescoping is that it is one more little step you have to go through when you are trying to access your pen in a hurry. The other drawback with this pen is that the pen does not screw into the clip structure, which means you just pop the pen off from the pen cap. This means the chances of it falling off is high, and that's what happened to me. The ink refill cartridges is a nice thought but you will most likely lose the pen before needing a refill on ink. For $8 it may be worth the risk to you, it may not.I then stumbled upon these Bazic keychain pens. I am most satisfied with this purchase out of the alternatives because at $7 I can lose 17 of them and still be good without having to get back on Amazon and submitting a new order. The quality is what you would expect...they are cheap little mini keychain pens. I'm not sure why the star ratings on them were less than some of the competitors. I could've gone without the cheesy assortment of colors, but with 18 pens you can float the colors you don't want to whomever wants them. At the end of the day it is only a matter of time until you lose your keychain pen...this seems to be the best option around right now.

These pens are great for carrying with you in a pocket or small purse. They take up very little space. By the way, there are Five to each package not Six as stated. But they’re still worth the money

I liked these pens because they are thinner and shorter than other pens however the plastic is very thin and breaks easily. I shared these with my coworkers and I was disappointed that my pen would keep flying off cap, the caps break very easily and plastic clip part breaks off easy too.

I removed the chain and carry the pen in my pants pocket. The cap stays on almost all of the time. When you don't have a shirt pocket, it's convenient to have this type of pen. Just enough length for ease of writing. I will buy them again for myself and my friends.

I first ran across these ink pens during a street fair where a vendor was giving them away in a grab bag.I attached it to my keyring. After over a year it accidentally detached from the ring and was lost.So, after finding these new ones I jumped on it for the excellent pricing. I can say they are identical to the previous one I had, BUT the chain is thinner :( So that's why only 4 stars. But these pens are so handy. They fit anywhere easily.I keep one hanging off a wall lamp near my bed even to keep it handy.Totally recommend. Since there's so many, give some to your friends. Glad I found these.

This is a great concept other than the fact that the pens get loose from the caps and fall off... Which counteracts the purpose of having a pen you can hang on stuff. Would be way better if the chain was attached to the pen not the cap👎

I ordered 2 batches, one batch had 6 pens a packet as advertised, the other only 5 per pack, leaving me 3 short. Contacted seller but received message to say contact Amazon Aus but couldn’t find correct link.
