So, a little backstory - I got bit by a young copperhead in August and naturally, that's made me a bit jumpy about snakes since it happened in my own yard. Previously, I had much respect for snakes and understand their place in the world and respected their space. It was an unfortunate accident that the snake and I were both in the wrong place at the wrong time. In an effort to refuse to suddenly be afraid of all snakes as if they're inherently bad, I've been working on trying to lean into things that push me back into the realm of accepting their existence. And then this bodysuit shows up as an available option to try. And then it's under $17? You know what? WHY NOT? So now I have this snake bodysuit (that covers hands and feet no less!) and I can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of this. My boyfriend and I take dance lessons and sometimes there are themed dance socials which afford us the opportunity to dress up a little differently - so this costume has a very REAL chance of being worn out in the wild. I'm at the 5'8-5'9" area of height (around 165lbs) and this thing fits pretty well considering that information. Will it show my belly pouch? Of course it will. But hey, I can blame it on the snake having just eaten, right?? I didn't feel constricted in it either (It's not that kind of snake after all). If you're really short...I don't know how this would actually work out for you without having to roll the fabric somewhere. Although, at that point you could just claim that you're about to shed your skin so, what the h#ll, ya know? For what this is and how much it costs, I really don't think you can go wrong with this bodysuit. It's fun and feels good.

I'm 5'6", 142, and the XL was too short in the torso giving a wedgie making it alittle uncomfortable. It fit in other places but anyone taller or weighing more, it would be too tight. The color is bright and vibrant, material is fine and the price is great. I ended up cutting off the feet and gloves and the suit fit much better. I also changed the yellow in front to green with fabric spray paint. I got the prize for best costume.
