I'm looking for something better than Nvidia. Does this have ethernet or 5Ghz?

Even if it does, it won't be near as good for anything other than a marketing board or basic "grandma" level TV watching. I could only find Zidoo and Dune as able to match or are better than the nVidia shield (so far). However, both of their low end models in a comparable range are $450 (they both do sell cheaper / inferior products as well) and their flagship models are about $1400. Took a long time to find then and i think both Dune and Zidoo are fully Chinese based. Other than that, you're stuck waiting for nVidia to come out with a better model with newer HDMI support and also stop their forced advertising on the home screen if enough people contact them to complain. Otherwise, you're going to have to build a home theater PC (HTPC) yourself for at least $1000+ dollars and then do a lot of hard work in getting all software installed and working properly. I don't think either AMD or nVidia make really good options anymore for HTPC builds (which is very stupid and a sad market loss use of all of the gaming tower computers). I think Asus made some really sweet HTPC options for a while in the $800 to $900 range, but it's been a while since i shopped for something to replace the phenomenal and hard working nVidia shield pro 2019. Here's praying, that i get some windfall money soon - so i can buy a top of the line Zidoo or Zune to watch functional-menu and higher quality resolution BluRays off my 2.5Gbe Asus 6404t NAS!
