It works.
I live in Ketchikan, Alaska and locals tell me to use pink buzz bombs for pink salmon. I caught two salmon today off the bridge by Creek Street in Ketchikan within 30 mins, I can confirm they definitely work. I've caught rockfish with them too, not sure what else they catch but definitely pink salmon.

These things are killer on rockfish and ling cod. Unfortunately, the colors I usually use were about three times the price of the yellow/red ones when I ordered, so I'm going to have to try something new. DO NOT forget to install the bumper because when the metal piece flutters down and hits your knot about a thousand times, that sucker will break off when you finally hook that nice yellow-eye.For anyone who's not familiar with these lures, you drop it to the bottom, either straight down from the boat or cast it out and bump it back until it's right below you. You want to lift it a good several feet off the bottom, typically 5-6, with each bounce, and let it flutter down in between. I use a 7.5' medium action rod with 30# braided line and I'm fishing in about 150-200' of water over a rock/shell bottom. I've caught every kind of rock fish, true cod, ling cod, and even halibut on these for many years.

Great for Pacific Salmon!
Caught 8 salmon in 4 days shore fishing with these things! Pink and Chartreuse in sized 2, 2 1/2, and 3 seemed to work the best. However, you can't use the treble hook in the state of Washington for salmon fishing, so I had to get single barb-less hooks separately.

the little bumper is easy to lose. I didn't see any increase in 'catching' with this lure. I would not buy it again.

This is a highly poisonous item that causes cancer it's nothing but a big hunk of poisonous sled
I don't want to be touching something that's going to give me cancer or be fishing with something that's cancer causing
