I was hesitant about buying because of size issues with other boots. I ware 8, 1/2 but ordered a size 8. In my case, I came down a half size to be safe and that turned out to be a smart move. The fit is good . Genuine leather. Quality all over, inside and out. Very impressed with the inside cushioning. Comfortable. You can tell they went out of their way to fashion it that way . Manly boots . You can't expect complete perfection with any real leather boot the way I see it. I took off the pull strap and dealt with the white stitching, no big deal. I would suggest that Ariat choose a dark gold thread around the edge for this type of boot instead of the white for a solid more blended look but that's just a hint.
