Good boots from a good brand at a good price.
Great value. These are some super comfy super light boots. I highly recommend. I work part time as a small time concrete finisher, and the other part as a forklift operator/yard guy. These are great for every job I've done.ProsWedge sole. The sole is nice and thick to prevent nails and debris from penetrating. They also provide secure traction on just about everything except thick mud and are very comfortable without a fancy insole.Light. For a boot of this size you would expect a heavy sluggish brute but not so. These are exceptionally light and easy to wear all day. They are also secure and I have not had any trouble with them wanting to come off while working.Waterproof-ish. The construction of these boots allows for a waterproof coating to be applied. They won't truly be waterproof but being that the boot is basically 3 solid pieces of leather you can put a nice coating on them.Competitively priced. This is probably the best thing about these. Most other brands are at least $50 more expensive. And true, you may get a pair of Ariats for that price (maybe) but these have the quality to last for a good long while if you take care of them. Why drop $200+ on one pair of boots that you'll be whining over when they get wet when you can get two pairs that collectively will last a lot longer.Easy on, easy off. No laces, no problem. And they won't eat your socks either.Cons.Protection. While the soles are great, the uppers leave something to be desired in terms of protection. They are unlined so you lose some protection from things falling on you or kicking things.Cheap leather. For as much as I like these I have to admit that the leather is on the cheap side. It's thin and feels somewhat cheap. This also ties in to the protection factor as compared to some premium brands these don't have as much separating you from the environment. They might not work well for you if you're a welder. They're a far cry from a Thorogood or a Danner but you're also not spending $200+. In my book it was a good trade off

100% worth the buy
I bought these boots july 2022 , i switched off with my laced boots for support once awhile but ive worn these pretty much everyday. I just find them very comfortable im a welder i stand on concrete sometimes 10hours a day these have saved my feets and knees now in feb of 2025 the inside of these boots have just about gave up pretty torn up inside but lasted so long for the price you cant beat it . True to size also pretty waterproof not completely though

Best buy!!
Totally recommend these, From our regular job that involves a average of 19miles of walking time. We head over to our horses. thats itself is a test for these great boots. Live stock manure, urine can really test boots and these have not even creased. The comfort level is top notch, i have had them for a while now and usually have knee pain by now from the wear of the boots insoles but man still super comfortable!!Recommendations is for the customer any leather items should be oiled from day one it will make the difference, specially with such great leather !

Great boots, slightly large
I went half a size down and they are still a little large. But are sturdy and comfortable so no complaints other than I need thick socks. Only took about a day to break in. Hoping they last at least a season

Get 1 size smaller, feels great!
After reading these ran big I ordered a half size small. They were still a little big so I returned and got one full size down from what I normally wear in sneakers and they feel great! Light, comfy, simple and looks great.

Boot damaged out of the box. In my case, the QC matched the low price.
Ordered on 12/1 and received my boots 12/8.I ordered a whole size down from my normal sneaker size and the boots fit well.Soft out of the box, so I'm assuming these would have been easy to break in.The welt material isn't listed on Amazon, but its man made and not leather. For the price, I expected a rubber welt. The issue I had was that the left boot had 3 small cuts in the leather where the upper meets the welt. It looks like the stitching machine punctured the leather in the manufacturing process. One of the three holes was deep enough to expose the inner lining of the vamp.I contacted Golden Fox, since they were the seller, and they said since it was fulfilled by Amazon, just to work with them. No real interest in seeing the damage or fixing the issue.I'll try and find a boot for a little more money with better QC, as opposed to rolling the dice again. They're good looking, but with 3 holes in the leather, they'll never be water resistant. My advice would be the check your new boots thoroughly before ever leaving the house.

lightweight, and good leather
the boots are nice and all, they are really light on your feet and breathable, i got a size 9 and they fit my foot print perfect but the heel doesn't form good as support so my heel slips when i walk, if i were to got down a size they would be too small for my foot and my heel would prolly still slip

How light the weight was and the comfort.
My husband is 92 years old and he’s always been in a work boot and a cowboy boot well at 92 they can get pretty heavy when he tried them on, he was so happy as to how lightweight they were and how he could feel the cushion Lol, extremely satisfied customer.🙏😇🙏💖
