It behaves like paper, but is durable like plastic. Works great in a laser printer and is completely water proof. For some reason I was thinking it was also burn proof, but it's not even close. This stuff will go up in flames pretty quickly. I'm not knocking the product at all, as it's not marketed as burn proof, so I'm not sure where I got that idea, but if you are thinking it's a good idea to use this in a fire proof safe or something like that, I would look elsewhere... but if you're worry about floods or deterioration of your paper, then this stuff is the real deal.I have no idea if it will hold up over the years or decades, but it seems pretty durable. I will probably try leaving a printed sheet of paper out in the sun next summer and see how it fares over the course of a few months exposed to UV rays, but other than that, I would easily recommend this product to anyone looking to keep their printed material safe and sound.It's easily cut with scissors but difficult, if not impossible, to tear by hand.
