Review: Super moist and fresh as dew on hotsutsuji petals - Each individually wrapped pancake has a little oxygen absorber tab in it which works to keep the snack fresh and moist. The pancake is not too sweet. The red bean paste in the middle provides the sweetness, but not in a cloying way. One makes a great snack. Get Chef Mike to heat you up three of them (30 seconds on high separated; not stacked) put a dab of butter on two of them, stack and pour a little syrup over them. Or, if you're adventurous, use a little Mike's Hot Honey. Then a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Voila!

The taste was alright but it tastes dry even when I microwave them. I rated it 4 stars since I just pair it with tea or coffee and it's pretty great.
