Love these. Part of any pretend beef dish now. Would not be without them. Faults? Trifle salty, but not overly.

Excellent meat substitue stock cubes

They are good i knew the price before i bought them but cant get them here.

I bought two packs - the beef ones and the chicken ones. I thought I'd be using the beef ones most because I wanted to make a vegan French onion soup (which I did). However, as my cooking varied from day to day, I found myself using the chicken ones more. They are lovely and savoury, and added a beautiful flavour to a carrot soup that I made, and many other dishes such as lentils in tomato sauce and tofu curry. Absolutely delicious.I put the beef ones in my onion soup, which turned out delicious, and also in vegan bolognese and Quorn steak sauce. Both the chicken AND the beef ones are highly recommended for vegans and vegetarians (and indeed anyone else!). They'd be fantastic in all types of soup and sauce, not to mention gravy and velouté.I know some people have raised the issue of the salt content in these cubes. To be honest I didn't notice any unpleasant saltiness or any type of unbalanced flavour in the sauces and soups that I made. I only used one cube per recipe though - I didn't overdo it.My only slight concern, and the reason for four and not five stars, is that they're just a bit on the pricey side. But not so pricey that I won't buy them again.Highly recommended.

Vegetable stock cube = 2% sodiumThese stock cubes = 20% sodium.They wreck any food you use them in unless you are a salt fiendGave 3 stars cos delivery was quick

Loved them

Arrived relatively quick, but doesn’t taste very good, quite salty and not beefy. Was hoping for better taste for the price but I’d u add enough salt to your food it will give you the same results as this cubes.
