Received my pedometer today. Instructions in the box were not very clear, but there were instructions on Amazon on how to switch from KM to miles. The lowest default stride is 30 inches and it would not allow me to adjust it lower. That is fine if you are tall, I'm 5'4. I walked around with it clipped on my waistband on the front of my hip and it registered nothing. I moved it to over the side of my hip and it would finally register some steps. I got on my treadmill to test it and it consistently counted 70-73 steps for each 100 steps I took. When walking around the house it didn't register even half of the steps I took. It also makes a clicking noise when you step. The only positive was the clip seemed strong and comfortable and the display was very easy to read. I will be retuning it.

OK, perhaps one of the best pedometers I have used. I clock my miles using my car's odometer, and the meter registers pretty accurately. I clip it inside the watch pocket of my jeans. The mileage is counted in kilometers, and when converted to miles it is accurate. The clip is strong, and requires some strength (for me) to use, but I like that. It measures kcal, steps, and distance (in km). I haven't looked at any YouTube videos to see how to operate as I am satisfied with it as is. Perhaps, if I had fully read the enclosed instructions I would know how to change distance from kilometers to miles, but it is not an issue for me. My dog and I walk everyday, and I find this meter meets my needs.

Got this for a friend that walks 10,000 steps a day and they loved it. It converts steps from km to miles with an easy push of the button. Durable reliable and well designed

from what I've seen this thing only really works if you're wearing a tucked in shirt or light t-shirt it won't really work under a coat and even with no coat you have to take it out every half mile or so and shake it or it will just stop recording.

I had to order micro screwdrivers to open the battery compartment, waiting on them to arrive. I suggest that this is made known to buyers, so they can order both items at the same time.

if you want a pedometer that is fit for its purpose, don't buy this. It is cheap junk. It turns on and can be set to zero and enter km or mile mode or step mode. what it cant do is count steps. no matter where i clip it, tuck it or hold it, it just doesn't record any steps. I had better luck years ago with a pedometer from the dollar store, wish I had kept it instead of pitching it out when the battery died. The only good thing about this POS is that it came with an extra battery. Not worth returning, so I will find a tiny phillips screwdriver and retrieve the installed battery in case I ever get something else that needs one. Amazon should be ashamed for selling stuff like this.

I started using it as soon as I received it. It is easy to use & easy to read. The clip is secure even on the thinnest material. It comes with an extra battery too. I did not like using pedometers in the past because they were not accurate; if you breathed too hard it counted as a step. This pedometer counts only when clipped to the waist and after 5 steps have been taken which ensures accuracy. If you want a pedometer that is easy to use & does not require a computer or app or smartphone, get this pedometer. You will be surprised at how many steps you take in a day doing everyday activities even if you live in a small space.
