B-Series Soundbar HW B400F 2.0 ch Soundbar with Built in Subwoofer (2025 Model) One Remote Control, Surround Sound Expansion, Voice Enhance Mode

Bought a small Samsung TV for our kitchen which has a great picture, but less than adequate sound. So we opted for this sound bar and don’t have any regrets. Big improvement in sound and for the price (on sale for $117), we feel it’s a pretty good deal. Be forewarned that it only comes with an optical cable and power cord, so if necessary, you will have to furnish your own HDMI or USB cables. Set up was a breeze and it syncs up with the Samsung TV perfectly. It also has Blue Tooth capabilities which we look forward to trying for streaming music.

Easy to connect and install. Sounds amazing. Easy to use and sync to my TVs remote so I don’t have to use two remotes. Great price compared to others similar to this product. Came ready with the cable I needed for my tv.

Easy to hook up to tv even with no instructions in the box. Fits snugly under the edge of our 65” Vizio. The sound is good but the “woofer” button doesn’t seem to do anything for the bass. There isn’t an onscreen menu for when or what a button is doing. We did find a manual online through a search of the model. We followed instructions online for setting the soundbar up through our tv settings, so we can control it with one remote. There’s no sound from the soundbar when we do this. So we are working with two remotes.

I use this with my computer, and it's perfect. For such a small light weight speaker bar, the sound is so much bigger, and the sound quality is excellent. Very easy to set up, and connect. The batteries that are provided for the remote didn't last long, and they're easy to replace with any AAA batteries you prefer.

The sound is muffled and bass-heavy. There's a control to change treble and bass, but when I use it nothing changes. My biggest issue is that I bought the HW B400F for the voice enhance mode. BUT the remote control doesn't access it. You need to use the Samsung SmartThings mobile app. However, the soundbar does not have wifi, so to link to the app you need to set the soundbar's input to bluetooth, and pair with the phone's NFC reader -- but not with the phone's NFC in card reader mode. But iphones have NFC in card reader mode by default, and I couldn't get the phone's NFC tag scan to detect the soundbar. I had extensive chats with Samsung tech support, with no success. This is really stupid. Why not just put all of the sound modes into the remote control? I suppose if you have a Samsung TV and other Samsung devices, you could use all of the soundbar's features. But apparently Samsung doesn't care about customers who are not devoted to their products. I'm returning the soundbar

I had high hopes for this soundbar, but it just wasn’t loud enough for my space. Setup was easy and the sound quality itself was clear, especially for dialogue, but it lacked the volume and overall punch I was looking for. For a smaller room, it might be fine, but in my case it didn’t make enough of a difference over my TV speakers. Ended up sending it back.

Small but powerful. I am using this with my bedroom tv. Very easy to set up. I am thrilled it has an HDMI ARC connection. The remote is very easy to use, sound is great, easy to pair with my Fire TV remote. Compatible with my Samsung tv. Great little speaker.

Excellent small soundbar for my office TV. Easy to set up and compares favorably to high end soundbars. Great for the price. .
