My situation: older home, poor insulation, and I needed to cool two mid-size rooms plus the hallway on the second floor. Short answer — it does, and does it well. Cools down fast. The inverter compressor makes a noticeable difference compared to my new wall AC. It reaches the set temperature quickly and then maintains it without constantly running at full blast. My rooms were comfortable within minutes. Whisper quiet. At thing is genuinely quiet. That was honestly a surprise given how much cooling power it's pushing out. The dual hose is worth it. It fits the window and comes with many options to adapt. Setup was easy. Window kit installs without tools. One thing to know: this unit is heavy. Getting it up a flight of stairs solo is a real workout — I'd recommend having a second person for that part. Once it's upstairs and in position, the wheels make it easy to reposition on flat floors. Arrived fast, well packaged, no damage. For a home without central AC or with rooms that central air just doesn't reach well, this is a serious upgrade. It saved me to install a full central system in my unit. With AC as powerful as this, two installed on each side will save you money compared to central air.

I have been use the smart air conditioner in my office for the last few days. Be honestly, it’s been a really good experience so far. My office gets a lot of afternoon sun, so it usually heats up pretty quickly. I didn’t want to install anything permanent, so I went with this portable unit. Setup was pretty straightforward, took me maybe 15–20 minutes, and I didn’t need any extra tools. the inverter, it doesn’t blast cold air and then shut off like older units. It kind of just keeps the room at a consistent temperature, which makes it a lot more comfortable when I’m working for long stretches. The design is also pretty clean and minimal, which I appreciate. It’s quiet, efficient, and keeps the room comfortable throughout the day.

This portable AC unit looks very sleek and modern, and overall I’m happy with its performance. The cooling is effective, the air gets cold quickly, and the noise level is relatively low compared to other portable AC units, which makes it comfortable to use even in a bedroom. I also really like the app control feature. Being able to adjust settings remotely is very convenient and adds to the overall user experience. However, the main issue I ran into is with the window panel. It feels too thin and narrow for my window setup, making it difficult to create a tight seal. Even after installation, there are still gaps between the panel and the window, which can reduce cooling efficiency and let warm air in.

BLOWS SUPER COLD! I was nervous after rwading some of the comments, but after choosing the 1600btu, I have ZERO REGRETS! I live in a 1 bed, upstairs apt w/ South facing windows & it was almost 85° in here today. Plugged in this beauty & in NO TIME AT ALL, IT GOT SUPER C.O.L D in my apt. NO WINDOW UNIT COULD EVER COOL MY PLACE DOWN! I got the 1600btu. because I knew that measurement of cold is exactly what I needed. The double hose type last longer because it brings in fresh air while hot air is pushed out. I 100% L♡VE THIS! Came in perfect condition. Love that it has 3 in 1 functions as MN gets humid & this has a dehumidifier. Its more cost effective than running a separate dehumidifier. Love the green light, its nice & bright. What really got me was the smart feature of being able to control it from my phone. I found this important to regulate my apt. when away from home. The fan speeds do blow quite strong. The vents Automatically twist side to side. Certified Energy Efficient to run ~ $77.00 per year. Comes with a nice long drainage hose. I LOVE THIS MACHINE! DONT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS! More than likely they didnt choose a machine w/ enough BTU's to cover the sq. footage they needed. Just get the 1600BTU machine. It covers ~850sq. feet of space. I have a rotating fan near my a.c to help blast the cold air into my bedroom. I plan on getting an 8000BTU machine for my bedroom. You can NEVER have to many a.c units! The more you have the less they have to work so hard. HAPPY SUMMER!

This portable AC system 16,000 BTU is well made looks good and works well. But it dose lack the ability of stronger fan speed. The difference between the 3 fan speeds (1,2,3) are minimal at best. And the actual air temperature is not actually accurate. It is off by 3 or 4 degrees. I have over 500 square feet and it took 4 or 5 hrs at maximum cooling to drop it from 75 to 72 degrees don’t expect to get big chill out of this unit but it does gradually decrease the room temperature. The compressor does not click on and but will instead reduce power to the compressor to regulate the temperature and airflow the only time you will hear the compressor come on is at startup. It is quite but even quieter when the compressor goes into low power. The connection to the unit is easy. But the window panel connection is not as easy as it seems. You have several panels and depending on the size of the window you have to match the correct size panels. The instructions book gives good instructions on what panels go for what size window. The worst part is is the app. Connecting is tricky. The Bluetooth connection is completely useless and the wife connection is easier but tricky to get to. Sharing the app was even worse. No instructions what so ever anywhere. I had to figure it out myself. First everyone has to download the app and register your own account. But the main account holder has to make the account first then share it to the other account holder. It’s tricky. You have 3 ways to control the unit. The app , hand control and the unit control panel. It came very will packaged and all parts and accessories came will packaged together. It’s easy to move around with 4 wheels on the bottom. It looks great but dose take up space and you need at least 17 inches away from the wall for airflow around it. I took one star away for the above reason but it is a good option for cooling down the room if you can’t lift heavy AC widow AC’s. You can bring it room to room but then you have to play with those window panels if your windows aren’t all the same size. But over all it’s a 9 out of 10. My advice get the 12,000 btu you will probably get the same result and save a $100. This review was based on my experience and my room size. Results can very on a small area. But I do think it’s still a better value and bang for your buck then other portable or window AC units. Good luck choose wisely.
