Great book!

This book is a bottomless fountain of basketball knowledge. Any imaginable category of basketball is in this book in a top-ten style list. Only thing is there is no mention of Tracy McGrady anywhere - the greatest injury-plagued player of all time. ("Top Injury-Plagued Players" is not actually a list, so maybe "any imaginable category of basketball" was a bit of a hyperbole - sorry! Still a great book.)

I bought it as a gift to my son. He is actually pleased.

For basketball nerds like myself, you won't find anything new here. You probably already know about every player, team, and moment mentioned in this book. But for casual NBA fans, kids who like to read, or older fans who like to reminisce, this makes a great present. For those curious, I will list and summarize the 16 articles included, as written in the table of contents: "Simple and to the Point", 1999. My 10 year old grandson wanted this book for Christmas. Being a basketball lover from Indiana, I read it before wrapping. It has lots of great action pictures in it and full of information about the players, coaches and teams. It lists the 10 greatest for several different categories. He really likes it.

Definitely a good read from some real expert opinions. Enjoyed the Basketball rankings by position throughout history as well as the player photographs. Although the book was published in 2014, 6 years old, it should be updated at least every 7-10 years.

J'en ai recommandé un second pour voir, même résultat, la jaquette détériorée. Les livres ne sont pas traités avec respect, mais comme des paquets de lessive et c'est inadmissible pour des coffee table books à ce prix. Donc 2 étoiles au lieu de 6
