Ice cream mixtures missing upon receiving the unit.
Was supposed to come with 6 flavors of ice-cream mix. Only 4 was in the box. Kinda disappointed.Plus it doesn't have English language.Instructions in Chinese language. So being that I will follow the instructions in the owners manual for the mixture for the ice-cream .It is a beautiful ice cream unit.Love the color.

Big hit with the family!
I ordered this for our summer reunion and it was perfect. We used a recipe I found online and followed the directions in the box for the Ice Cream Maker.Unboxing was easy and the Maker is quick to set up. We washed everything and started making ice cream right away. The little instruction book comes with a few recipes for different types of ice cream and we have yet to try those. With this recipe, it started to slow down and sound like it was stressing the motor after about 40 minutes. We set the timer for 45 so we turned it off early both times. The ice cream was soft serve quality and tasted amazing. We put it in glass containers and then into the freezer for about 2 hours before the kids got at it. We added strawberries for the second batch. I do recommend if you are going to add fruit make them super small when cutting. The strawberries we cut were big and they blocked the paddle so when it was done we had a big clump of strawberries. It still tasted amazing but we had to mix them with a spoon into the two containers so they were evenly distributed. The Recipe we used was 2 cups heavy cream, 2 cups half and half, 1 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix well. Also, we did not freeze the container before using it, I don't think it made a difference the second time.Love this and will make more of our own ice cream and try out new recipes.Clean-up was super easy, finding a place for it in our pantry took some moving around but we are super happy with the ice cream maker!

Obvious Designed Failure Point / Avoid!
Bought in 2022 and used this maybe 3 times ever and then the Dasher broke. This spot is way too thin of playoff material to be expected to survive. It's an obvious Designed Failure Point. I am a mechanical engineer, I know, and I know this tactic by company's. I reached out to the manufacturer, expecting a redesigned and free replacement of this part. Not redesigned, and they also wanted $21 + S&H to replace this part that's just going to fail again. Now, why would I do that? To add to the insanity, due to high demand (I wonder why), the part is on backorder. IMHO, the company should be replacing these as a recall quite frankly. Amazon should pull them from the store as defective and for bad business tactic until they rectify their gross mistake. This is a obvious designed failure point that fails too easily. It's on backorder probably because they're failing in mass and people are ordering the part faster than they can make and replace them. The plastic is way too thin at this spot for what this part does. It's so obviously going to keep failing in this manner. Other models have this spot designed as metal, go look around and see for yourself. Many people will just buy another one vs repair. Cost of one part is too high of a percentage cost of just buying a new one. I cannot believe we dropped $80 bucks on it originally, to be honest. These same units are now going for about roughly $40-$50, probably because people are onto the shady design tactic, intent on boating units and party sales. I certainly will not buy another one of this brand to support bad business tactics. If they just make things to last and they'll get customers for life! Too bad it had ruined my daughters moment when we were about to make some ice cream. She was so looking forward to it all week.

Superb performance in a compact ice cream maker!
The Elite Gourmet EIM-308L 4-qt ice cream maker has performed perfectly for me.I did not have my $600 ice cream maker with me during a recent annual California vacation. A lot of friends were disappointed that I was not going to be making homemade ice cream during this trip. Because of the palpable disappointment, I decided to give the Elite Gourmet a try; because Amazon could deliver the unit to me in two days.I must say that, being accustomed to a top-of-the-line ice cream maker, I was very pleasantly surprised with the performance of the Elite Gourmet. So far, I have made two gallons of strawberry, one gallon of Rocky Road, once gallon of blueberry, and I have got a gallon of banana walnut spinning right now. The unit is a bit less noisy than my $600 ice cream maker, but that one is a 6-quart capacity unit. The Elite Gourmet is a breeze to clean-up, too. I have no complaints at all about this little gem of an ice cream maker! I have attached a photo of the unit itself and the batch blueberry ice cream.
