Get a charger and make sure to top the battery off once a month if you're unable to ride. Needless to say, this is an excellent battery to purchase. The key is to FULLY charge the battery before installing. Voltage should be somewhere in the range of 13.1 to 13.3 volts before installing. IF the battery ever falls below 12.7 volts, it should be charged again. In all cases. use a 12v, 1 amp or 12v, 1.25 amp charger. NEVER fast charge a battery of any kind. Heat build-up in a battery is 'bad'. I expect this battery to last over 8 years as well.
