Better than my OEM Dunlops
Definitely an upgrade from the original Dunlops that came with my Harley and for about the same price. These tires are more 'sticky' than my old Dunlop tires so I feel more confident in the turns. They are also a bit more round which makes easing in and out of turns easier to do.I have an antique Harley and was worried about keeping the bike 'original' but honestly these look about the same as the OEM Dunlops I was riding on before and I really think these are a safer tire. Harley now uses Michelin on their new bikes and for good reason. These are just a better product and people will know you've done your research and made an informed choice when you upgrade to these tires.

Great tire! Decent Price!
I bought a used motorcycle from a person who put a larger tire on the rear than what belongs so I bought this to change them out and fix a balancing and rubbing problem. The tire is really light compared to any other tire I have used. The bike handles much better now and this tire sticks like glue even on wet roads. I'm getting one for the front soon to make a matching set. Michelin's are worth the extra money, this is true for motorcycle and auto tires! They pay for themselves over and over again because they last a long time.

So Far Great Product
I have put around 3,000 miles on my 2003 Harley Electra Glide since installing this tire and it has been working great. It was more affordable than the Dunlop. My Dunlop that was on the bike when I purchased it was worn out so I can't tell you which one is better as far as traction but this one seems to be working well and does not show excessive wear with 3,000 miles. Price per mile of wear it appears this one beats the Dunlop. Only time will tell. It did slide when riding in the rain coming down a hill in Omaha one time but I think no matter what tire I would have had on there it would have slide due to the smoothly worn road. I have had good luck with all of the Michelin tires that I've purchased.

Good as any
This is my second Commander II tire. They wear evenlyThey run quietThe hand mount easily compared to some other brandsThey seal very well on the wheel. Rarely have to add air. Those are the plusesThe Negatives..They don't get any more mileage than any other tire I have run.Michelin makes big mileage claims which I did not see.Pretty much the same 10,000 mi I have got out of every other brand over the past 19 years and 110,000 mi on this 2001 FLH.Michelin tech support is lame.I called to ask why the side wall wasn't marked for mounting in regard to valve stem position.Ugh..1st tire I have mounted in the past 30 years or more without a mark. The 1st Tech had no clue what I was asking about.2nd tech says the industry is getting away from that. No explanation why.Not true. Dunlop, Continental, Pirelli, Avon and others mark their tires. Michelin is marking their front tires..Still a good tire and will purchase again.

Great tires, great price and great shipping.
Got the set for my old FXR. Decided to run these since you cant match the 888. You had to mix 880 and 888. My Avons were great at first but then quickly went to hell. These lock up, hold the surface in a turn and displace water in the rain. I believe these are superior to the 880. Checked the dates and the oldest tire was only 7 months old. The other one was 4. Awesome!I will report back in later in the season to post wear.
