It was easy to assemble (did it by myself so you could say it is a one person job) and it's very sturdy. Its tall but small so its perfect for my small family in our small kitchen. We have had this table for about a year and it still looks new aside from two little scratches my son put on the top of it with a fork, but you hardly notice them because of the natural wood color. The table top and chairs have a glossy finish so they are really easy to clean. This table is small enough to fit in our living room without taking up too much space. My husband put it together by himself without too much difficulty, but he is good at this stuff. The set looks very nice, and we have already received compliments on it even though the room is a mess and I am still trying to figure out the layout of the space. The seats are comfortable unless you have a very large bottom and plan to sit there for a long time--things start to fall asleep. There are two problems I have with it though: 1. The table wobbles like the legs are uneven. This is annoying but I plan on fixing it with those felt pads that prevent scratching. 2. There is a stain on one of the seat tops. This is driving my husband crazy. I tried a stain remover and magic eraser but It's some kind of pink and dark stain that is into the wood and not just on the surface. Amazon suggested that we take everything apart and send it all back, then they will send a replacement. They can't just replace the chair part. That's way too much hassle. We will try to sand and poly or buy a new one. Overall decent set. I wish the table was a tad bit longer. It is really sturdy, made of real wood, easy to put together. I am a girl and I put it together myself in less than two hours. The reason I put only 4 stars is that the top board had a crack on the inside part that is not visible and is not likely to effect the functionality of the table. Aside from that, it’s a great item at cheap price that irrived fast.
