Every one who had purchased this prior to me said that one should order the next size up. I did... I often wear a Large or XLarge, but rarely the XXL that I had to order here. These fit perfectly. I love them. I have already washed and worn them out on a super chilly day. They worked flawlessly under my jeans and sweater. Could not have made a better choice. I expect to get another pair, so please don't raise the price! It's perfect price for the product. I ordered the brown, waffle cotton and can't tell you about the fleece ones. I don't generally like fleece and polyester type of fabric, but then that's me. Choose what you like, but I'll recommend only what I've tried. I almost always read the reviews before buying. It seems to me that often our "expectations" are often the problem and not necessarily the prduct. Many customers had expected a heavier fleece that could be worn as tights or leggins so they were disappointed. Luckily for me I expected what I got so am thrilled. They do run small so may need to go up 2 sizes larger. If you settle for too small of a size the seams might just give up trying ....and split. Unfortunately they only go up to XX large .
