Does this product have holes to let in water and allow it to sink?

Thank you for your inquiry. This decoration is made with a resin and is heavy enough not to float under water. It is completely solid and will sink.

I have this and it is hollow with no holes besides the bottom. Is it safe to drill holes to allow water movement?

I would highly recommend you don't do that. The ornament is made of an resin that is somewhat brittle. Chances are, it would break apart. I've had two in my, Mudskipper aquarium and I've never had a problem with water flow from the current. I hope this helps.
