Its a great little Gunpla that I enjoyed building. It's fun for beginners or anybody that just wants a cute smaller Gunpla that will fit in more spaces compared to the larger ones. This is great for beginners too. The build takes maybe 30-45 minutes to finish.

I bought this model kit because I wanted to replace the SD EX Standard RX-78-2 I had built previously. I'm very glad I did! The color separation is much better with the Cross Silhouette SD line than the older EX Standard. If you want to get an SD version of the RX-78-2 get this one! No painting is required, however I would suggest getting a Gundam marker to do some panel lining - it brings the details out. I went the extra mile and did some detail painting and added some waterslide decals from the Real Grade (RG) RX-78-2 model. I'm very pleased with this purchase and it's a welcome addition to my ever growing Gunpla collection.

This is the best looking SD I've gotten so far. It's the first one I felt it was worth doing the panel lining for. (Picture is before panel lining so you can see how it looks for yourself.) I prefer how he looks without pupils, but that's opinion.The beam sword is a white piece, so if you want to use it, you'll need a red paint or marker for it.Overall it looks and feels higher quality than my other SD gundams.

Finally! A complete kit! After purchasing two incomplete kits from Marukai (too far away to conveniently drive back to for a return), we decided to only purchase from Amazon. Bonus is this kit wasn't missing parts.My son was stoked to finally complete his first Gundam model. This is a great gateway model if you want to get your kids interested in building them. It has a very straightforward design, easy-to-followndirections, and the end result is spectacular.

These little SD kits are absolutely great for practicing your panel lining, painting, or decal application skills! Super simple to snap together and have really helped me to become a more "skilled" modeler. Take it from me, get a few of these kits to practice so you dont ruin your $65+ MG kits with botched paint/panel lining mistakes.

The instructions were easy to follow, the package came untouched, and quickly. Instructions are also easy to follow, and with all Gundams, I recommend nippers and an Exacto knife. Great start for beginners and a small granddaddy is also greatly appreciated :)

Ordered this bc we're out of school for now, my son loved it. Locked himself away and put it together with zero help. Great buy
