***Updates are located at the bottom of this review.*** ***Original Review*** My three-year-old daughter has been in her princess phase for a little while now and she kept using her dolls' tiaras on her head since she didn't have any of her own. Luckily Christmas was coming up so I did some research on dress-up tiaras to find the nicest ones without spending a lot of money. Most of the tiaras I came across had reviews where they broke fairly easily and then I found these Melissa & Doug ones! We have some products by Melissa & Doug so I already knew to expect very good quality. I was delighted to see that we could get four tiaras and crowns for a pretty decent price so I ordered them. On Christmas morning, my daughter was ecstatic to open these and wanted to wear one right away! There are a total of four pieces: two tiaras that fit like a headband and two crowns that sit on top of your child's head. There is one pink tiara and one purple tiara with fun, vibrant colors painted on to resemble jewels. The tiaras are made of thick plastic that have held up amazingly well so far. There is one gold crown and one silver crown and both have a couple of comb prongs on each side on the back so they stay in place. Just like the tiaras, there are pretty, bright colors resembling jewels and they are also made of thick plastic. I am very pleased with the quality of these. She has played with them nearly every day and they are still in great condition. My daughter has an average-size head for a three-year-old and they fit her nicely. I am so happy with the quality of these tiaras and crowns that I am looking to get her the accompanying dress-up wands for her birthday so she can have even more fun! If you are looking to purchase a crown or tiara for a little girl for dressing up or birthday parties, these would be a great choice. Overall, the price per headpiece is much better for four of these than you would pay individually for many of the other ones I've seen in stores or online plus the quality is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these if for some reason we lost some or wanted more for a birthday party. I highly recommend these tiaras and crowns! ***Update 10/16/2016 - My daughter received these crowns and tiaras for Christmas last year and still loves them! She plays with them daily and they have mostly held up nicely. I included a picture of the three out of the four we have left because these three are still in great shape after months of use. One of the crowns broke in half when I accidentally stepped on it and, even with super glue, we were unable to repair it. Considering the other three are still in perfect shape and the fourth only broke because of an accident, I am still keeping my five-star rating.

This tiara set from Melissa & Doug is fantastic. For the price, the quality is outstanding. The crowns are sturdy and well-made, not flimsy or cheap like many other dress-up items. The details are pretty and they have a nice, substantial feel. They've held up perfectly to enthusiastic play from my preschooler. This is a great value and a wonderful addition to any dress-up box. Highly recommended!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's birthday. They are more sturdy than other crowns we previously purchased. I did have one break, after she left it on the floor and her dad accidently stepped on it. While it's good quality, they can still break with enough pressure. I would definitely buy another set. The colors are great, and it was nice to have various fits for her many days of dress up!

I was afraid these would look cheap because the "jewels" are painted, but they look great and the kids race to see who gets to wear them during costume play time. Really nice heavy duty plastic, have held up nicely. Would definitely buy again.

They are cute. My daughter wears them almost everyday.

I have one and a half year-old granddaughters. I was nervous about choke hazard and them breaking the crowns and potentially scratching themselves. These crowns are perfect. That’s why I made the video. Two of the crowns, you can leave out for them all the time and they can play with as they don’t have any gems on them and you can bend them and there is no chance of them breaking. Two of the crowns have inverted gems which I really don’t think would actually come out and the plastic is not as bendy but I will only let them play with them when I am watching them closely and then put them up out of reach until they get a bit older. They are also inexpensive and they’re really well-made.

Great for dress up. No beads or sparkles to fall off. Grandkids like them!!

Me decepcionaron varios detalles de este producto. Por un lado, viene sin gemas,son huecos lacados en brillo,supongo que será por seguridad,para evitar atragantamientos. Por otra parte,el plástico es rigido,y lo veo más vulnerable a la rotura en manos de niños. Por lo demás el producto se ve bonito y aparente,muy lindo presentado.e Relación calidad precio buena.

El tamaño esta perfecto y la calidad excelente, durables y muy lindas. Las dimos de regalo en la fiesta de mi hija y fueron un éxito. Perolk mejor es que el msterual e muy durable, ha tebido csrias pero se rompen de inmediato, estas no.

Achetes pour un anniversaire. Le pack facile à déballer est une boîte en carton plutôt moche et scotché partout. J’ai enlevé le scotch pour vérifier que le contenu était conforme. J’avais déjà cet article qui dure toujours depuis plusieurs années et des enfants peu soigneux. Les gemmes sont creusées dans le plastique et peintes. Beau effet et pas de petits morceaux qui tombent. Ça peut faire le bonheur d’une fratrie
