YES IT DOES ADJUST YOUR BUNION!!!!
This one REALLY WORKS. You have to use common sense and move the toe in the direction of the toe sling BEFORE you secure it. Then you can adjust the dial which moves your toe into the correct position. You can even move the joint downward to separate the area between the second and great toe. AAAAHHHH. To finally be able to massage those shortened tendons in between those two toes was heaven. My hands used to get so tired trying to hold them (the toes) apart while massaging. Yes it hurts but it hurts so good and it is worth it in the long run. If you watch videos of people getting massaged between those toes while having the bunion stabilized, you can plainly see there is discomfort. I was able to wear mine for 18 hours straight the first day. THE TOE DID NOT RETURN TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION COMPLETELY. I wish I had done a video. My BUNION IS ONLY SLIGHTLY REDUCED AT THIS TIME, BUT THE SPACE BETWEEN MY TOES IS QUITE NOTICABLE AND I NOTICED IT THE VERY FIRST TIME. I do understand why doctors would not endorse this. Podiatry has to be lucrative and this can threaten that for sure. I will try to up load a video later.

Good but Not Perfect
When I first tried to walk with the device, I found I could not. The up and down joint was so stiff it would not move. I held the device in my hand and moved the hinge up and down. In a few days it loosened, and I could then start to walk with the device on and get it to move smoothly when walking. Better too tight than too lose, it will become looser with use. Much easier to walk than a device that has a steel bar.The strap that goes around your foot is wider than some other devices and stays in place better. The strap that goes around the heel is much too short to reach around my foot. Some other devices need the heel strap to stay in place but with this device it is not needed. Some other devices are made for small feet and the strap around the foot would not reach around my big feet. The strap around the big toe is another matter. It is much too short and the hook and loop fasteners barley reach. I think that they will have a short life.I get the same benefit from wearing this device for a few hours than I did from other devices wearing them all night. I bumped the device on the button that releases the cable, it came loose. I do not think it is suitable to wear in bed.I find the knob and cable assembly to be satisfactory. I had a device with a lever that did not come loose when bumper. However, the lever broke after a few weeks. I think the cable and knob assemble will last longer. The hinge for the in and out movement is not close to where your toe bends. When putting on the device the lever bends inward and pokes your toe. I can hold my toe in alignment when I put it on so not a big deal. If you cannot hold your toe in alignment, you may have problems. It does a good job of holding my toe in alignment, much better than any other device I have tried. But it is not perfect.

You will not be putting any kind of footwear over this device
There are things I like about this Tenicore bunion corrector, and things I don't like. Ultimately, the "don't like" column won out and I returned it.First, things I liked: Because of the velcro material, it is almost infinitely adjustable on the foot. Also, I definitely liked the adjustment tension feature, because then you've got 2 ways to adjust how much your toe gets pulled into line: how loose or tight you make the velcro around your toe (which can only take you so far), and then the tension knob, which can help pull it just a little farther out, or release (some of) the tension and it doesn't put so much pressure on your toe.Unfortunately, that tension knob is so big there's no way you're going to be able to wear any shoes or even slippers with this. (*Maybe* flip-flop style slippers, but I don't have any of those.) Also, I don't see any socks stretching far enough to go on over this, so if you're wearing it during the day, you're stuck with barefoot. And in December/January, that meant my foot was cold all the time whenever I tried to wear it during the day. You can wear it at night, since presumably your feet will be under the covers, but for some reason, it made my foot hurt worse wearing it in bed than it did walking around in it.I also found it to be just a little more inconvenient to put on than the type with the straight metal splint up the side, because it has slots in the plastic brace that the velcro tabs slide through, and getting the instep strap through its slot took some doing. Somehow, the silicone padding always seemed to get in the way, and you have to turn the brace at just the right angle to get the tab in the slot without hitting the padding. So ultimately, for me, the inconveniences outweighed the higher-tech appearance.

A Painful Experience: TENICORE Bunion Corrector Falls Short
I tried this Bunion Corrector, hoping for some relief from my bunion discomfort. Unfortunately, what I got was a painful experience that left me more frustrated than before.Right from the start, I found the device to be very uncomfortable. The design seemed promising, but wearing it was a different story. It felt rigid and awkward, and instead of alleviating my discomfort, it caused more pain in my big toe and surrounding areas. I had anticipated some adjustment period, but the constant irritation made it impossible to wear for long stretches, even in the comfort of my home.In terms of effectiveness, I can’t say I noticed any improvement in my bunion. Instead of correcting the alignment, the discomfort from the product overshadowed any potential benefits. I was hoping for a solution, but this felt more like a band-aid that made the problem worse. If you’re looking for a comfortable and effective way to address bunions, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The TENICORE Bunion Corrector simply didn’t deliver on its promises, and for that, it earns a disappointing one-star rating from me. Save your money and seek out alternatives that truly prioritize comfort and effectiveness.
