If you look closely there’s a little black strip on it and you need to wiggle a bit to loosen it, then you pull up toward the candy. That should help separate the part with the strip into two pieces, then you pull them apart from each other and that SHOULD do the trick. Lol, yes you need a degree in unwrapping candy to get to the lollipop. But they’re yummy. I’m addicted. I’ve ordered them twice in the past month and I’m sure my dentist won’t be happy with me. They were a good value at about $3.50 per bag but now the price has doubled. They’re still a pretty good value but, ya know, I just can’t bring myself to buy them at twice the price. So I’ve got a price alert set. We’ll see if they go back down. Meantime, my teeth can recuperate. I know some people said they weren’t sour enough but I think they’re plenty sour. The lemon and apple are really refreshing. Strawberry is my favorite. It would be great if they offered a sour watermelon or cherry as those are my favorite flavors. The sour isn't sour to me, more tangy but it's throughout the whole lollipop which is nice. I however love sour candy so it's hard for things to be sour to me anymore.
