Review: I bought this as a form of cold lighting for some video recording. Not what it was made for, but it's ideal! The lighting levels are good, the clip is very sturdy and clips onto surfaces such as shelving, benchtops and clampstands, and the battery lasts as advertised. The charger's LED indicator is very useful too. Brilliant!
Review: I've had this light for almost six months now, and I absolutely love it! It gives off a great and even amount of light (on the cooler side of the spectrum, but not horribly so), wide enough to use for music books without being a distraction to audiences in performances. (It also has a hood along the lower edge of the light to help shield the light from audiences, and that also works well.) It has a decently strong clip as well, so I've never had any issues with the grip slipping on my stand. The battery life is wonderful even when I have the light on the high setting (which I often do, because my eyesight is terrible). I have now used this light to play three multi-weekend musical productions, and it easily gets me through entire tech-week rehearsals and shows (about 3-5 hours each) without me having to plug it in. This is a good thing, because the cord for this charger is NOT long enough to have it plugged in while using it on your stand. So I just make sure I take it home and charge it between rehearsals/shows, and I'm good to go. Bright side: in a pit orchestra, it's one less cable to potentially trip over! The charger has a strange little happy-face light on the side of it as a status indicator of charge--red when it's still charging, and green once it's fully charged. Depending on who you ask, it's either adorable or creepy, but either way it's definitely useful. And it's also saved my butt when I plugged it into a power strip at a venue and the complete lack of light on that charger told me the power to the strip was in fact cut off. My only complaint about the charger is that the fit of the cable into the base of the light is kind of loose after using it a few times, but as long as I make sure there's no strain on the cord between the charger and the light when I go to charge it, I don't have any problems. Overall, this is a fantastic product, and well worth the price I paid for it (which was about $20 less than what I would've had to pay for the Mighty Bright that I had almost bought instead). I am a happy customer!

**Q: How long is the cord that connects the lamp to the power adapter?**
A: If you are buying this in late 2017, you're out of luck. The cord is only 38" long as I measure it. This will not reach to any outlet without an extension cord. The manufacturer must have been cutting corners for profit reasons to make it so short.

**Q: Can this light attach securely to a flimsy wire music stand?**
A: Yes, I think it would be secure.  I have one attached to my desk organizer, which is lightweight metal and it seems secure.  The other one I have is attached to my piano music stand, and it is very secure.  The clip is really tight, so I think it would work on a metal wire music stand.

**Q: How long does the battery last?**
A: Not sure, assumed it was a battery issue so used the electric adapter instead. No resolve.

**Q: I bought this and lost the charger? Anyone know what the charger I should buy?**
A: I lost my charger too. I found a charger at the thrift store but it is 9V out put. I'm charging it in the backyard on a concrete table so if the LiOn batteries fry it wont catch anything on fire. I'm buying a new lamp with a USB charging port.

A good sturdy light that is as much at home on a desk as it is clipped onto a music stand. The light coverage is good over the whole page without being blindingly strong. The price was good - it would be easy to find a similar light for twice the price. I'm looking forward to having my music well lit when performing in dimly lit churches and carolling at Christmas!
