I have been hair oiling my hair for about a year now (consistently). I have an amazing hair oil that I know gives me results because of how amazing and spot-on the ingredients are. BUT, I always felt like the actual process of hair oiling caused my hair breakage. Not terribly, but when you have a lot of ingredients, it’s just not possible for even distribution on just the scalp. It means some sections get “tangly” because sections of hair off the scalp are pulling and drenched in oil. This is such a game changer because it means more efficient use of your hair oil being distributed directly on the scalp, AND it’s stimulating your scalp regardless if the massage setting is on or not. You also don’t need oil in it to get scalp stimulating benefits. Because of the even distribution of oil, I can actually leave the house if needed because my hair looks sleek, not just covered in grease and oil. Granted, I haven’t tried a bunch of different scalp oil mechanisms because I don’t like to buy things unless I NEED them. So as a consistent “hair oiler,” I bought what I thought would work, and it does!!! So I’m honest when I say I wish I bought this years sooner. Granted, I only recommend this to people that are consistent with their hair oiling and scalp massages or else you won’t use this. And you’ll probably lose it fast, too. I don’t because it’s become a need with my hair oiling which I do multiple times a week.

Pretty nice hair oil applicator, can hold around 5mL. The distributing tips are nice but require quite some pressure to release the liquid, so if you have very sensitive scalp then this will not be very comfy. Works well with both oil and watery liquids, but beware cuz you will need to clean this after some time to ensure no bacterial growth, and oil is not the easiest to clean. Still works well after multiple months. Not sure if the red light aids hair growth.

The vibrating feature and the red light feature are interesting, but my gripe with the applicator is that if the liquid you put in is on the thicker or viscous side, it takes more effort and friction on your end to get the oil flowing from the tip to the scalp. For those who have a sensitive scalp, that can cause irritations to the scalp that are painful.

Perfect if you are looking to destroy a bag! Even better if you buy this for someone you don't like because it's just going to leak all over them. How dose it even leak out of the back?? Ps. The oil I used was actually too thick for the others that i have. That's why I bought this..

If you have tight, textured or coarse hair. Tread carefully when buying this the roller balls snag on the hair

I was skeptical but decided to try because the one I had leaked everywhere all the time! This actually feels good and does dispense the liquid evenly! The very light massage feels good too. Don't know if the red light does any good but overall I really like it and I use my scalp treatment more often. It's pretty darn good at what it's supposed to do!
