My monitor doesent support 120hz over hdmi, but it does dvi d. Will it support 120hz and above?

I may not know what I am talking about, but I have 2 computers, one with dvi out to a brand new FHD digital monitor and hdmi in, and the a somewhat newer pc with hdmi out to an older monitor monitor with dvi in. I don’t know what the refresh rates are, probably 60 MHz, but I use hdmi cables and the video is excellent for both. So the dvi adapter product works fine as described.

If I plug this into my computer, can I plug my xbox one hdmi cord into it and use the monitor as a television for videogames and movies?

This device will allow you to connect an hdmi cord to your computer or tv. My laptop does not have an hdmi connection. I use the device to stream movies on my computer to my big screen tv. You do not get sound. You have to run a sound cable which is similar to your desktop speaker connection.

Can this product fits with my receiver with no hdmi just the dvi ports to my plasma tv?

This product will fit either version of DVI and it will convert it from DVI to an HDMI connection. In doing so, no sound will pass through this connection. External speakers from the source is a great option for this minor inconvenience though.

Is it dvi-d (like the title of the item) or dvi-i (like the picture and the last bullet)? or another way - is there really 4 pins around the cross?

It is not dual link. I just recieved this from amazon and hooked it up to a dual link dvi apple 30" monitor, and the max resolution was: 1200 x 800.

Older pc to projector.

They work perfectly! I have an older HP desktop pc. I have a projector in the room that the computer is in. I plugged the unit into the desktop out for the monitor, connected a hdmi cord to it, plugged the hdmi into the projector. With the mouse I enlarged the picture to full screen, and it looks perfect! Definitely worth the money.

No adjustments, no fussing... it just works

I got a new computer and needed to connect it to an old but still working display. Of course, the new computer had DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, and the old display had DVI and VGA inputs. I decided to get this Benfei DVI-to-HDMI adapter, since I know that DVI is a much better input system than VGA. The Benfei adapter came in a quantity of 2, and at a great price.Connecting it up could not be easier: I plugged the Benfei adapter into the DVI input on my display, then plugged the HDMI cable from the computer into the Benfei adapter. That's it... there are no settings or switches, no Windows adjustments to make it work. It just worked.I have been using one of the two for three months now, and it works perfectly with my display, which has a little lower resolution than full HD -- I think my display is 1680 x 1080, or something like that. In any event. My Windows 10 computer knew automatically what the display's resolution was, and it all works fine with no intervention on my part. Obviously, the Benfei DVI-to-HDMI adapter can pass the monitor information from the display through the adapter and back to the computer. Again, everything was completely automatic and transparent to me.If you have an older display with DVI input and need to connect a modern computer that has HDMI output, my experience is that this Benfei connector works exactly the way you want it to work. I recommend it.
