Brightness is very nice, battery life not so good and durability is absolutely amazing.

Great light!

As with all flashlights/work lights, there are some room for improvements with this light. As someone who relies on these types of lights everyday for work, I can say THIS is not one I would rely on. The lights I use everyday are a 130 lumen Dewalt, 260 lumen Streamlight, and a 350 lumen SnapOn. All of them are rechargeable, 2 are magnetic, and all considerably more expensive than this Coast light.However, the cost of 4 AAA batteries used in this light is incredibly more expensive than all those lights combined when you think of how often you will need to change them. On the high setting, the batteries will last about 1 hour. One hour will cost you roughly 7 dollars. If you use the lower intensity setting (33 lumen) they will last longer, but 33 lumen is not bright enough to even notice the light. Your smartphone flashlight is probably brighter than that.So to sum up this light:Is it bright? On the high setting yes, but the batteries will only last an hour, and NOT rechargeable.Is it durable? Yes, it is very durable, and reliable. Coast maskes quality lighting products.Is it cheap? YES, but only initially. Replacing batteries is expensive.Do yourself a favor and get a Streamlight Strion or Stinger. The initial cost is higher, but they are rechargeable, very high quality, durable, and VERY BRIGHT
