## Description

RadioMaster RP3 ELRS FPV Receiver - 2.4ghz ExpressLRS Nano Receiver Drone RX Module with 65mm UFL T Antenna for FPV Drone Tiny Whoop Fixed-wing RC Plane by Speedybee

Review: Ive only been doing FPV for a very short time...maybe 9 months. I got into all this when a friend of mine in the RC community retired from FPV'ing. He knew I wanted to try it so he just gave me ALL of his stuff. I recieved an FRSKY Tarranis X9D (on D8 protocol), a pair of fat shark HD0 goggles w/rapidfire module and several working and nonworking quads of various types/sizes...JACKPOT!! But was it really? So I was immediately struggling for the first 3 months to get any of the XSR and RXSR recievers to bind to the X9D, nothing was working, my patients had reached their limit. I was about to throw it all in the trash and stick to my RC cars/trucks that I can actually fix and make work. I hate giving up on anything and more than anyhing, i HATE feeling defeated. So i decided to give FPV 1 last hoorah before giving up! Believing i had followed every step EXACTLY as described when working with the FRSky garbage, i thought my problems were because of the old, out dated gear i was using. I decided to purchase a new Radiomaster TX16s Max, and 3 new 2.4G ELRS recievers, 2 RP1's and an RP3. I installed them, they binded the 1st time and with ZERO problems...just like they are supposed to. No more headaches, no more frustration....just success. * Side note, never use FRSky products! It's a time consuming headache. Now here I am with several of my own builds, all flying, and im loving the hobby once again. As for these recievers (or any other radiomaster product), I have never had ANY connection or other kind of issue... ever. I do fly these in all of my builds and I own at least 2 of every one of these that are in the RP series. The RP1 is my go to for sub 5in quads. It's small size, solid performance and unquesionable reliability are unmatched. I fly the RP1 in 5 of my 7 tiny whoops. They are perfect for when u want to take those little guys out on longer distance flights, or just rip around the house. Then there's the RP2. This guy isnt as small and lightweight, but it is still very reliable. Because of its larger size and weight, it found a good home in my 3in-5in quads. The ones i use to practice and learn/try stunts...or in general, just bash with. Basicly they are the Arrma Infractions or Felonys of the air, lol. Very durable and have survived many serious crashes that have retired more than 1 quad. Now, the big daddy of the RP series. The head honcho. El jeffe. The RP3. This is my go to reciever when I am doing a serious build with the best and most reliable parts. It is in 8 of 8 of my larger (5in +) quads. An ABSOLUTE must have for any serious build. 1st and foremost, the price. That alone makes this a attractive option. 2nd. Diversity. The only 1 of the series that offers diversity. 3rd. Size/weight. You can put this thing in nearly any build. I currently fly the RP3 on quads as small as a tinyhawk 2 freestyle, which is a 2.5in quad, and all the way up to my10in heavy lift, long range quad. To me, the best application for the RP3 is in a 4in-7in build. Why? because the length of the antennas come in at 79mm (less on the RP1 and 2)....that's barely over 3in. WTF? This can severely limit mounting options. Radiomaster really should offer the entire series with optinal lengths. I would gladly pay a little extra for an optional 4in-8in antenna length. Overall the entire RP series still gets 5 stars from me. With rock solid performance, unwavering reliability, durability and that competitive price. This reciever is at the top of its class right now. I highly recommend the RP1, 2 and 3. I plan to purchase more very soon and will continue using them for the foreseeable future.

After upgrading to the RadioMaster RP3 ELRS receiver for my FPV builds, I'm blown away by the performance improvement. This tiny powerhouse has completely transformed my flying experience! The dual antenna diversity system provides rock-solid signal stability even in challenging environments. I've mounted one antenna vertically and one horizontally on my drone for optimal coverage, and the difference is remarkable - no more random failsafes or signal dropouts when flying behind obstacles. Installation was straightforward despite its compact size (22x13x4mm). The built-in WiFi for firmware updates is incredibly convenient - no more removing the receiver from my build just to update. The bind phrase system also eliminates the frustration of physical bind buttons. Performance-wise, the RP3 delivers exceptional range thanks to its LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) for improved reception and PA (Power Amplifier) providing up to 100mW of telemetry power. The TCXO oscillator ensures solid connection reliability even in varying temperatures. At just 4.6g including both 65mm T antennas, it adds minimal weight while providing maximum performance. The 5V operating voltage works perfectly with my flight controller. If you're looking to maximize range and reliability in your FPV builds without breaking the bank, this receiver is absolutely worth every penny. It comes pre-installed with ExpressLRS v3.0 firmware and supports up to 500Hz refresh rates for ultra-responsive control. Perfect upgrade for anyone serious about long-range flying or just wanting bulletproof signal reliability!
