The brand is, LaMedina. And I think I paid like $7 or $8 for it. Really pricey! But I liked it. So when I saw this offer here on desertcart, I was really surprised to see that the size of this box is more than double the size that I got, and it costs only $6!! But I saw the reviews are mostly good, and I saw that I can even pay the measly $6 for it with my EBT! So I ordered it. And after trying it,, it tastes just as good as the LaMedina, Heck the cubes even look and smell the EXACT same! So I'm very happy with this purchase! I'm gonna order another 2 to stock up, cause with an average of 6-8 teas daily...I'll be going through these quickly (fyi, I put like 3 cubes per cup of tea) EDIT: I just realized something...The Nutrition facts shown here is actually not the same as the one on my box! So I'm adding a photo of mine, for comparison. You can see like the Serving Size, here it says 1 Cube. 200 Servings per container. VS mine that has Serving Size 2 cubes. Servings per container 125. They are larger than those little cubes and they are imperfect and "rough cut". I love these. **Q: The production code is for the date of production, but what is the expiration date? What is the shelf life of this sugar?** A: Sugar doesn't promote bacterial growth. If sugar is kept in a cool dry place and remains contaminate free it should last a lifetime. It can become very hard and clumped together if not stored in an airtight container. **Q: Would a cube be aporox 1/2 teaspoon or closer to 1 teaspoon?** A: I pulled several from the box in an effort to get you an accurate answer.
