My dad has a deep love for German Shepherds. Since he was a kid, he's rescued several, along with Alaskan Malamutes, and continues to raise Shepherds with so much care. Keeping them healthy and happy is a big priority for our family. We went through a lot of trial and error with joint supplements, trying different brands that either didn't work well/at all or just weren't worth the cost. I kept searching and finally struck gold with this one. It's more affordable, way more effective and best of all, they actually enjoy it. We've had four German Shepherds: Bonnie, Cassandra (8), Keanu (7) and Aika (4) along with my Lab/Terrier mix named Migi (10). Bonnie passed at 14, but these chews truly gave her more time with us. She was picky, but she loved these. They're soft and chewy, which was perfect for her as a senior. She was the sweetest baby and loved to play fetch, always possessive of the stick and never wanting to give it back. Once she started taking these, she went right back to her playful, bright eyed puppy self, moving with ease. We didn't need to give her Cytopoint or Librela injections anymore, which saved us money and spared her the stress. Most importantly, she was so comfortable and happy in her final years. These dogs act like hyper puppies because these help them stay that way. Migi loves them too, and she is pickier like Bonnie was. All in all, these supplements help keep our dogs healthy, mobile and full of life. They've removed the need for any maintenance injections. Plus, the dogs think they're getting treats, so it's a win-win. We're so thankful these chews exist!

First Impressions (Day 1): My sweet 12-year-old black lab has always loved her walks, but lately she’s been slowing down and stiff in the mornings. I decided to try Petnc Natural Care Hip & Joint Health Chews after hearing good things. She can be picky with supplements, but the liver flavor made this an easy win — she took it like a treat without hesitation. I appreciate that it has glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and hyaluronic acid, all known to support joint health and mobility in senior dogs. Update (3 Weeks Later): The difference has been noticeable. She’s getting up from her bed more easily, climbing the porch steps without stopping, and even bringing me her ball again. Her tail wags more on our walks, and she seems more like her younger self. No digestive issues, and she still loves the taste every single day. Convenience & Value: The 90-chew container makes daily dosing easy, and the soft texture is gentle on her older teeth. It works for all breeds, but it’s been especially great for my senior lab. Verdict: If you have an older dog showing signs of stiffness or slowing down, these glucosamine chondroitin MSM dog chews are a game-changer. My 12-year-old black lab is moving better, acting happier, and loving every bite.

I haven't been using these too long. My first container arrived with the top popped off and the plastic film broken- which emptied the contents into the shipping box. I don't think it is a matter of tampering, but that the small container jostling around in a big box led it to popping off. The plastic film freshness/tamper film is thin and the cup is really just a milk carton style cup, so.. imagine easy to break. What was in the box did seem fresh, so I figured it was popped open during shipment a decided it was worth trying another one. I requested a replacement and got one immediately. Those arrived in good condition. I have been using a different mobility supplement for my two young labs (at the time, 3 years old and 1.5 year) for about a year. It started when my big girl was sometimes favoring a back leg. I immediately set out to trim some weight off and get her started on a supplement. The latter helped almost immediately. We also slowly took some weight off, as weight came off energy and mobility increased. She went from 95 now to 77. I mention this because less weight on joints is going to do wonders. I added in the supplement to support her joints now- and in the future. Using a supplement, especially with big breeds is good to use at any age, in any condition- so I started my young boy on them as well. So while I am not making a switch from the brand we are loyal to, I am ok with giving a couple doses a week with a different brand. Start with the higher dosage, then go to maintenance dose (which is typically halve the starter dose). This is your daily supplement dose. Some companies will say to up it back to starter dose as needed. Consult vet for more advice on that. For us, selecting this item all began when I was running low on our preferred supplement, and needed something to tide us over until the other arrived. I looked for something comparable. When I came across this product, read through dozens of reviews including all of the low rated ones, I decided to give this a try. While it wasn't my primary concern, I was intrigued that it is about 10x less expensive than what I normally give them; and reviews seemed favorable, or at least not that much different than any other brand I was looking at. All seemed to skew the same- except price. At $7.99 for a dog over 80 lbs, that is 3 chews a day (maintenance). A 90 count container will last 30 days for 1 80+ lb dog. That is .08 cents per chew, so 0.24 cents per day per dog (so for me .48 per day for 2 dogs). With similar math, my others cost 0.81 cents per day per dog, so $1.62 per day. I still feel more comfortable and satisfied with their other brand, but I think now I can add in maybe 2 doses of this per week per dog to change things up. Some similarities in the formula, some differences. Hope this helped. I will make a point to come back here to update if we experience anything out of the ordinary- good or bad. So far so good. My girl likes the flavor, my extra picky boy will get around to it. Neither are used to chicken livers, so that might be their hesitation. I have no idea how many calories are in these as pet food supplements do not have to add that information in (but some do anyway). Since my girl is on a diet, I do prefer to know. These are quite tiny, so I imagine in the 10-13 calorie range at most. I'm not sure if I like that the ingredients might possibly be sourced from China- so keep than in mind when deciding on these. Container says Made in USA, but with "globally sourced" ingredients. I went to their website and found this info in their FAQ section: "Are PetNC Naturals vitamins and supplements manufactured in the US? Answer: Whenever possible, we source raw materials from the USA. Started my boys on these 11/26/25 and have already seen amazing improvements in 2 weeks. Our 15 year old Pom was really struggling getting around and was in pain, yelping when we would pet and pick him up. I ordered these just see what could happen and wow - I have my normal dog back. He’s been lively, running around the house, getting the zoomies and we are able to pet and pick him up without issues now. He also only has two teeth left due to dentals and has no issue eating these. They are small and soft and both boys love them. We also started our 9 year old Heeler on these as a preventative measure. No issues with their stool or tummy doing the daily amount per weight every other day like advised. The container is easy to open and the boys look forward to their “treat” in the morning. The price is absolutely worth it to see if it helps your kiddo. I would 100% recommend and thankful I decided to give these a try. Added to my subscription.

I give one of these every other day to my westie with his food, after about four days he truly has been walking better. Nothing else has been different with him, so I honestly do believe these are helping with his hip joints.

Even though my dog loves these, and they seem to have helped her joints, the packaging is not good, hence only 3 stars. Today when I received it, the container was open, and all of the contents were spilled out into the delivery bag. Another time, they arrived with the package also open, and the chews all stuck together in a big clump. I was not sure whether to still give these to my dog in this condition. I contacted Amazon, and they are refunding my payment for today's delivery. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had an issue with the packaging.

After using these for my dog I knew right away they were working he's active and jumping right up where before he acted like it hurt to get up

These are amazing! My staffy started have discomfort in her legs due to arthritis and was struggling getting up in the morning and she has now been on these for 2 weeks and can already see a massive difference. What makes it even better is that she loves the taste!
