BETTER THAN ADVERTISED! Height position pin is NOT secured with an easy to loose clip pin, as shown. Newer design has a locking mechanism at the top of the height position rod that is keyed the same as the provided hitch lock and prevents theft or tampering of Tri-Ball. Excellent design upgrade! Very secure with rubber “Silencer Pads”, especially when towing my motorcycle trailer without brakes.

I love this hitch! It is heavy duty and when the ball attachment is off, the bracket can stay on and doesn’t become a shin knocker like most hitches. I leave the bracket on all the time and put the ball on when I need it. I love it!After having this hitch for a few months I’m updating my review. I was fear ended with the base of this hitch installed and it saved the rear end of my truck and the hitch held up without so much as a scratch. The guy who hit me isn’t so lucky. This hitch just paid for myself several times over for me! I love it!

I like the design, easy to change height and ball size. I needed the 8” drop and the 3 different ball sizes to cover all my various pieces of equipment. Very heavy duty hitch that does what it is supposed to do. Happy with my purchase. Too bad they don’t make the vertical pin with a lock on it also. Would be easy to steal the ball assembly although useless without the rest of the hitch. I don’t leave my hitch on my truck anyway if I’m not using it so no worries.

The hitch has some good weight to it, very solid and does not rattle. It got a nice matte black finish and the hitch ball section is more of a light brass finish than the pictures look gold.

This is a pretty nice hitch. This product, if I could, I would give 4.5 stars. The lock bolt spindles came apart and I found myself having to pick them up off the ground and reinserting the spindles so that I could unlock the bolt. I was very frustrated but managed to get it back together and it snapped back into place no problem. Other than that, the hitch works great.

They give 1 lock for hitch but not one for the ball assembly

Love it. Love how they give spacers and an Allen head to take out all play so it’s not clanking around on bumpy roads
