No slipping issues either. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The okayest 40$ safety shoe *by K***. on July 16, 2025* These are the okay-est safety shoes. They are, indeed, safety toe, and most certainly shoes. These are the best budget shoes to get you over a hump. Add a nice comfort insert, (think Dr Scholes or whatever your preferred thing thing is) and these are down right serviceable. Lest you get too excited, however, keep in mind the price point- your shoes will wear out long before your insert. I am, as the kids say, "caked up thicc boi" and I don't exactly put miles and miles per day on these, but they lasted about 4 months. Not terrible, not awesome- they are okay. They are light, easy to put on, breath well if they get a bit of a puddle step on accident. The safety part is not the world's greatest, but it isn't cardboard either. It is a show, that has a safety toe, and it meets certain minimum safety requirements that allow us to consume them, at a financial cost that hints at a glimmer of nostalgia. Back to a time when the nice shoes were $100, and the okay shoes were 40$.
