I really like the thought that went into this product, but dislike the lack of thought I put into it. I was staggered by the light output of the flood light I added. I wanted to light the flag at the front of my home. The 5 watt LED puts out light like a 100 watt flood. I live in a wooded area and found it difficult to get the wiring under sidewalks and other obstructions, but that is more the nature of my property rather than the product. I am also concerned about the long term durability of connections, so placed all of the wiring in a split conduit cover. I don't know that I needed to do this, but I feel better about long term durability. With the long wiring pigtails from each light, I ended up cutting off most of the pigtails, but can see where they might be needed in other settings. The transformer is a beautiful piece of equipment, as is the junction for connecting multiple lights. I highly recommend this system is you live beneath a canopy of trees where solar lighting is not an option. This product should last forever. I have also added four additional walkway lights to my system. I put those lights along the top of a concrete retaining wall. They look spectacular sitting almost six feet above the ground and illuminate our automobile parking area spectacularly. There have been no more complaints from my family about a lack of light at night. I can't say enough about the transformer. It is a piece of stainless steel jewelry.

This set is very well made from solid brass that will last for many years. If they happen to have an issue they have a lifetime warranty. I did have the pleasure of contacting customer support. I had ordered a few extra lights and one was missing. They answered the call on the first ring and sent another light without question which arrived the very next day. So I feel very confidant in the lifetime warranty. The product was packed very professionally which results in zero damage. The "hammer stakes" sliced tree roots and earth like a hot knife through butter. Just remember to use a 2x4 when pounding them in or you will break the heads. I had bought 2 transformers. A 300W and 150W. Both look identical except that the 300W had 5 terminal slots and the 150W only had 4 slots. The only complaint or recommendation I have is the included direct burial cable. It is only 14 gauge and only 100 feet. I have several 200 feet plus runs which required me to buy a 12 gauge so I can get the proper current to the end of the line. I would highly recommend Volt lights and transformers for any level of expertise. They are simple to install after making a thoughtful plan while saving yourself 100's or 1000's for having someone install them for you.

After doing some research on landscaping lights I finally decided to go with Volt. I saw these (or similar in look) with one of the neighbors home and aesthetically look really nice. I decided to go with the 150W package and bought additional fat boy and walkway lights. The packaging all arrived in one big box that had some shipping damage. All the items inside though had individual packaging so nothing got damaged. Installation was a breeze. The stakes do take a little time specially if you have hard ground. The transformer it came with was in a nice and insulated box with a clear front so yo can see your timer and status without opening the box. The material looks sturdy and looks very nice around the yard. I did get some compliments. So far so good but it has only been for a couple of weeks but really happy with the purchase!

Our electrician told us to purchase quality lights because the inexpensive lights are unreliable. These Volt lights are understated and beautiful. My husband installed them without any difficulty. He was very impressed with the quality of the lights and the transformer. We like that the lights are UL certified and lifetime guaranteed. We are very happy with our purchase.

The Volt lighting kits do not come with written instructions, which at first concerned me. The Volt company’s website, however, has multiple, easy to follow “how to” videos that walk you through all steps of installation and include ones on planning your project. Excellent product!! Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

Replaced solar lights along our driveway and walkway to our front door. The solar lights were dim and wouldn't last the night. The Volt lighting was easy to install, very high quality, and brightened up the entire area. Well worth the price!

This product arrived right on time and looks much nicer than the picture. We are in the process of installing it right now and it appears to very straigt forward and simple.. I am eager to see it light up!

Better than home depot Malibu lights for sure. A little more expensive, but well worth the quality: lights, transformer, nice stainless steel box, commercial quality. Bought two sets and made our landscaping look like a 10.
