Escali Kinetic Body Scale

I actually really love this purchase. I'm very impressed that the scale contains no batteries at all which is much better for the environment. You just step on it a couple times to charge it up, and it seems accurate. It's true there's no backlight, which could be an issue for someone with bad eyesight. Overall it works very well and I have no trouble seeing the screen. The scale is attractive, not too large, and inexpensive- I believe I paid less than $13. The rechargeable scales that measure BMI and have a backlight and internal battery aren't accurate anyway and are clunky and the batteries are very bad for the environment, both in production and in disposal.

Easy to set and use. Works great and I don't have to worry about batteries. Matches the dr's office measurement.

The kinetic power aspect of this is nice. You just step on and it goes. The screen isn't backlit, so you'll need some lighting to be able to read the output. This serves my purpose, but my biggest gripe is that it's precision is not that high. If you step on the scale 10 times, it may give you 10 different readings. I find that I have to step on the scale several times to get a relatively accurate measurement. The inaccuracy is probably within the range of 1 to 1.5 pounds.

this thing sucks!!! i step on it and i have a different weight every time...it worked ok for about 3 months after that it turned to crap

Escali Kinetic Bathroom Scale for Body Weight with Battery-Free Body Scale Design, Black is a very sleek, attractive scale. The scale itself is very nice looking and I love it doesn’t need batteries. There are a couple of issues however, if you are weighing yourself in a darker room, the weight will be hard to see, so you’ll have to bend down to read it. They must have known about this issue, as the weight stays on for a good 40 seconds for you to read it. I guess this is due to no light without a battery. Also, when I stepped on the scale, if I am not absolutely perfect on standing on it, the reading is off. Your feet go on the ends, and being tall, I couldn’t get my size 9 ½ feet just right. After a few tries, I began to see the weight come up the same finally. This scale is not for me, as I like to just step on, have a lighted number that turns off after a few seconds, and always see an accurate reading. 2 STARS.

Good product

Maybe it's just us; but we read the instructions & tried using this for a few days. We would weigh ourselves on our other scale; then on the Escali. We could not get consistent readings out of it. I'm hesitant to totally blame the scale; it may have been is doing something wrong.

This digital scale has been a great addition to my bathroom. It turns on automatically when I step on, gives a quick reading, and the numbers are large and easy enough to read that I don't have to squint or lean over on the scale. It's sturdy underfoot and doesn’t slide around, which makes it safe and simple to use, and the readings stay consistent so I know I can trust it. It matches up pretty close to the doctor's office scale. The scale is also slim enough to slide under the cabinet when I’m not using it, and the white design looks nice in my bathroom without drawing too much attention. It's easy to keep clean, too! This scale is accurate, easy to use, and built well, which is exactly what I want and need in a scale. I happily recommend this product with five full stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
