Makes job easier
This product works great for trying to caulk in tight spaces. I had to caulk a tub to the deck and it literally was 1 inch of space. This item allowed me to do a neat and quick job. It literally can caulk around corners.

Ok product
Did not know these tubes went into the 90 degree bend. Thought they could be used as straight extensions.

Used correclty it's great!
I tried this on two tubes of caulk and it was a disaster. I figured I would re-read everything and look at the parts and then it clicked for me, and it is actually a great product!I'm including pictures. The first is a warning to not trim too much - which caused my entire issue. It talks about sealing the screwing the black nut - I did that but it don't work the first two times because I didn't trim enough of the caulk tube off. Here's what you have to do. Your goal is to get flat tapered end of the Klose tube inside of the caulk tube nozzle. If you get that set then you'll be good. For my tube of caulk I had to cut all of the tapered end off. With the tapered end off my caulk tube you can see that tapered end of the Klose tub can now fit in. You can see when it's in the caulk tube it goes almost all of the way to the top of the cut caulk tube. At that point you screw in the black threaded piece and everything will hold firm.Don't forget to poke a hole in your caulk tube seal before you connect the Klose tube.Even though this works great I'm only giving it 4 stars because I wasted 2 tubs of caulk to figure out how to use it.11/5/23 Edit: I'm going to have to knock off one star (4 down to 3). If you're only going to use one extension in one tube of caulk, then there isn't a problem. If you have multiple tubes of caulk and you want to re-use the extension, then when you try to move the extension from the old tube to the new one you may notice that the extension somehow broke into two pieces. Maybe I got a bad batch of extensions, but half of the extensions broke on me (see picture). I didn't force them or hear a "snap" or anything, so I'm not sure what happened. I'm still going to purchase them again because otherwise it's still a great solution.

Worked well, but...
The joint between our kitchen backsplash and counter needed to be re-caulked for a while, but I kept putting it off. Finally got around to it and this nozzled extender worked well for getting around the faucett. The only problem I had was that the seal behind the diaphragm of the caulk tube leaked and I got caulk all over the plunger inside the tube. Didn't know it until I went to take the tube off and it wouldn't come off. Next time maybe if I snip the end of the caulk extender there won't be as much pressure and I won't have that problem. Kept wondering why I was pulling the trigger so easily yet there wasn't that much caulk coming out of the end of the extender.

Do not buy
Don't bother with this product. It does not attach well to caulking tube. The easy and best way to extend a caulking nozzle is to use a smallish vinyl tube, shrink tubing or the like and secure to caulk tube nozzle with a small hose clamp. This works like a charm.

What is this thing supposed to fit?
I've tried this thing on the tubes I intended to use, then on every tube in Lowes. It fits nothing! I've no idea how it's intended to be used. This is the most displeased with any product I've bought from Amazon. I think the intent is for the black piece to thread onto the tube nozzle. But how they think plastic is going to cut threads into plastic is beyond me. How much would a metal insert add to the cost? Gone back to vinyl tubing and a hose clamp. Not pretty and it's messy, but at least it works.
