My son is a goalie and this is a perfect undershirt for protection.

We initially discovered Storelli brand because we were looking for better leg guards for my son. We purchased them and were very pleased with the quality and the protection they provided. Clearly, they were designed with an athlete in mind and not just for over protective parents. They did not inhibit movement, keeps his shin guards in place, and have done a great job of protecting his legs. We started exploring more of the Storelli products and we decided it was worth the extra cost because of how much more physical the game was as he grows.....no shock. He loves all the gear including the head guard.He scrimmages 3x per week with the gear on and wears it for games. The most important thing about protective gear is that you wear it....and since this line of clothing does not restrict movement in any way, and looks good, he has no issues using it. We never know how much the protection worked when he falls or collides with a player, but we've been extremely satisfied with the Storelli line. As the weather begins to cool in the North East we will invest in the long sleeve version of this shirt.As for care....cold wash, air dry and it's good to go. Has held up very well since we wash after each summer practice.

My 8yr old grandson wears this every game, 2 times a week. He plays goalie and he loves it. He says it helps it not hurt during catches. I have seen his confidence go up while wearing it. He says it helps cool him down. I think due to pulling the sweat off his skin and then the wind cooling the moisture.

Really, really want to like this product, but it falls a little short. First, playing a mix of field and keeper led me to this over the long sleeve keeper shirt. I am 6’/185#/43” chest wearing a large. Fits well in front, but loose in back, either due to padding or strength of stretch material. Not sure if this affects performance of padding, but I purchased this following a rib bruise and have subsequently suffered two more (sternum and lower) wearing it. The padding either needs to be doubled or reinforced with something more firm. There are also significant areas that have no coverage. Wore football flak jackets for years and was expecting something similar, but lighter and less protective. Not sure what this protects, and it definitely doesn’t give me confidence.

Either Storelli has changed their material formula or this is not real Storelli gear. This piece has material that feels rougher, less breathable, and the foam has less impact absorption. Not a fan of this at all.Edit: I sent this item back for a refund. Glad I did. I ordered this exact same item from Storelli’s webpage. The item I received from them was definitely of a higher quality make than this item. Softer, more breathable material. Pads had better absorption. The Storelli icon and inside labeling was different from this item. It also had the yellow stripe across the back neckline that this item was missing.

MY kid loves it. Plays with greater confidence because the pads don't shift. I hang them to dry and they dry very quickly by the next morning.

I mean $50 is high but it gives my daughter an extra layer of protection. The quality is excellent and it is very comfortable as long as it isn't horribly hot.

Too small and not what I really wanted. I gave it to my grandson and it fits him perfect.
