Battery Issue
Having purchased (5) C400xt's in the last four years I can tell you their functionality is great for any job site. The noise canceling really works, especially for the price. The downside is you'll be buying a new one in less than a year because the battery fails. The average for me is 10 months.I just purchased one in May and it is dead already-so just around a month. By that I mean it will not take a charge or work. It is garbage.Every 400xt I have owned has been replaced for the same reason. It's a great product but a shame the battery can't be remedied.Be well-

Comfort and worry free
My husband has been a professional truck driver otr, local and now in the oil fields. He has had several bluetooth’s (Blue Tiger Elite, Blue Tiger Deluxe & BlueParrott B250xt just to name a few) designed for truck drivers. Comfort wise they start off great but, 8-10 hours into your 14hrs your ear tends to hurt and switching ears ends up being to awkward. The need of scratching your head while wearing a ball cap ends up being fun specially driving and holding a conversation. With the BlueParrott c400xt it’s been comfortable all 14 hrs, can wear with my ball cap or hard hat and not have to worry about taking it off during a conversation to scratch his head or change hats. Not to mention no longer having to worry if it is sprinkling or snowing outside when it comes to my Bluetooth becoming damaged when he gets out of his truck. As far as size of it he thinks it’s far better than some of the others he has had and really likes the earmuff feature remaining because the in the ear buds are far worse. He has had no issues with broken parts everything works great.

Durable, road warrior noise cancelling headset
It's an improvement over the 250. It seems more durable. I stuff it in my laptop bag like the I did the 250, but it seems to take the abuse better. It has the option for over-ear/around neck vs over-head. I use it when I commute 1 way for an hour, take a road trip by myself, or in the airport. I've asked about the noise around me and coworkers say they can't hear it during meetings. It pairs nicely with both my laptop and phone to work with MS Teams or take phone calls. I can toggle between both devices easily. I stumble with the voice prompts to answer a call, but that's me. When I'm aware and respond correctly, it works.

The best headphones for stocks trading or trucking !
I have had all the many types of Blue parrot. The main reason I keep buying them is I am def. I was a M1A2 Abrams Tank Crew man in the Army..After 7 years and Iraq my hearing is really bad..I just dont understand why other companys are so scared to turn up the volume, theirs a control for it..Blue parrot the best out their..One other thing is that its really ticking me off..The read back of my text messages..Sometimes it works and other times it does not..Not sure its a bug or what I have done everything possable to resolve the issue but still cant get it to work all the time so I just give up..Other than that its a great head set..

Died after 5 months
Update after 5 months:Today the headphones suddenly turned off during a phone call. I thought the battery died so I charged it. After 4 hours the charging light is still red. I tried to turn on the headphone and it won't. So now I have a dead headphone after only 5 months. Very disappointed and I thought I would let everyone know.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I am a realtor and spend a lot of time on the phone, whether it's in the office or on the road. That's why I need a good headset with excellent noise cancellation. Tried a few of those AirPod style in-ear headphones, and their microphone quality is not so impressive. Before buying this headset, I also tried two other brands of "trucker headphone" that are about half the price. Their noise cancellation didn't meet my expectation either. The noise cancellation with the BlueParrot C400 headphone is top notch. I called my wife while driving 70 mph and she told me she couldn't hear any noise, and my voice sounded normal to her, not "robotic". Exactly what I needed. I give it 5 stars for that. I took off one star overall for two reasons:1. The battery level indication in my Android phone is inaccurate. It starts with 100%, and stays 100% for 3 days, then 90% for half a day, then it died in the middle of a phone call. Not very helpful. I don't know if the overall battery life is the same as what they claimed, but I am ok. Just wish there's a more accurate battery percentage.2. The "headband" is not comfortable. I have to keep adjusting it.After the first few days of testing, I have decided to keep it.

Good headset for conference calls
The C400-XT is larger and more obtrusive than my trusty old Xpressway. I don't notice any weight after a 9 hour workday. The received audio is clear and crisp. I get good reports on my voice but the mic picks up more background than the Xpressway. I may disable the Answer/Ignore voice prompt which delays immediate answering though I like the verbal Caller ID based on my Phone Book. The flat ribbon-type USB charging cable did not work out of the box and a call to Amazon resulted in delivery of a higher quality replacement cable two days later. I was in a rush to use the new headset for a meeting and could not easily snap on the behind-the-head attachment. The old one from my Xpressway snapped right on. I like my new headset though I wish it was slimmer.
