Ontario Knife Company Watermelon Knife.
Ontario Knife Company 8828 Watermelon Knife from Pro-Motion Distributing - Direct is a good value for the money. Cutting larger melons with a small knife is a real pain. This knife is not expensive and works like a dream. The edge is sharp enough to cut through a watermelon with ease and seem to hold its edge well. A few strokes every now and again through a basic kitchen knife sharpener and your ready to cut your favorite melons. I recommend this product.

Amazon big error!
The description and the photo were for an Ontario Rat 2 in D2 steel. And I received this watermelon knife so ..... what else can I say?

Good knife
Great melon knife. It holds its edge well. It's stiff enough to make clean straight cuts.

It is too large and not balanced properly. I returned it.

Beware made in China
Ontario Knives are high carbon steel made in the USA so I buy a lot of them. Sadly I was tricked with this one.Stainless steel and stamped " China" on the blade. I'm sure it will work fine but Ontario owes their customers the decency of telling them this model is not a USA made item.Poor form Ontario!!

Dimensions: blade 12.5 inches, overall 17 inch. Think of a very stiff slicing knife..Blade is 2.5 mm thick. If you have big hands dull the 1/2 inch closest to hand. Made in china. Work great for cutting watermelon when sharp

Outstanding!
Great product! Slices through watermelon like it's warm butter. Holds an edge very well. You can't beat the price either. I would recommend this knife without reservations.
