'Artpop' is a new Cherry Red backed imprint which will feature the work of Ed(ward) Ball. He is a prolific writer and has released nearly 20 albums under various guises over the years. This unique compilation contains some of the best loved tracks by The Times, Teenage Filmstars and O Level, as well as a version of 'Love Is Blue' which charted in the Top 75 in 1997. Ed was a founder member of the Television Personalities along with Dan Treacy and Joe Foster. The TVP's had several highly acclaimed independent chart hits in the early 1980s with songs such as 'Where's Bill Grundy Now,' 'I Know Where Sid Barrett Lives' and 'Part Time Punks'. Ed went on to form O Level, The Times, and Teenage Film Stars. They all had albums released on the Creation label with which Ed had strong ties and were all critically very well received.
