Zak Designs Handheld Citrus Melamine Reamer, 5.5 Inch, Kiwi Color

I've used the cone-in-bowl type, the one where you fit it over a measuring cup, and the squeeze type, and this is the easiest, most effective way to get all the juice out of a piece of citrus. It's the closest to how we did it in culinary school (with a fork) without the risk of stabbing yourself in the palm. If you want to filter seeds, buy a small mesh strainer and strain over it. This guy is heavier than he looks too. Good heft. Comfortable handle. Simple to wash. And I adore the color.

Perfect handheld size and fits small limes to a 'T'. I don't want to dig out a full-sized lemon juicer and then wash it, or the larger handheld lemon squeezers and wash it, just to get the juice out of one small lime - and this little thing is heavy, hard and the perfect size for the job, and extremely easy to clean. Love it! Works on small lemons great too. I do dig out my little container juicer for larger lemons, so I don't get the seeds or pulp with those.

I don't know why I waited so long to get this. I previously had an old-style glass citrus juice but never replaced it when it broke. Since then, I've been making do by sticking a fork in my citrus and twisting, while simultaneously squeezing. It worked by was never great and I didn't much like having to straighten out the fork tines after each use. The first time I used this juicer, I was amazed at how much juice I was able to get! Simple design but sturdy, it's comfortable to handle, easy to use, and does a great job at getting all of the juice out with very little effort.

I have a lemon tree. I don't use the lemons as soon as they are ready and usually ends up with a lemon with a think rind - too thick to use the yellow juice squeezer or the old fashioned juicer with the juicer part in the middle of a dish. Got this reamer to see if it would juice the thick rinded lemons better. It really works. Quick, gets all the juice out. I juice into a strainer set in a bowl, dump the seeds out of the strainer and use the juice. I get about twice as much juice from each lemon as I got from the squeeze juicer. This item is not very expensive and appears plenty rugged for its job. A good deal!

This is a great gadget for reaming my lemons and oranges...sturdy, easy to grip and a delightful color.

Did not realize that it was going to be heavy but love that it gets the job done and it is overall a very nice size...a tad smaller in bulk than the usual wood ones.

I'm kind of an addict with kitchen tools and gadgets so believe me when I say I have many ways to juice a lemon/lime. This thing really takes the juice out the citrus! I love the feel of the reamer in my hand and the heft - it's weight is perfect! It feels like a quality product that was well constructed and designed. I love that it's a solid one piece tool and is easy to clean, too. Super pleased with finding a quality product, which can be a challenge on Amazon.

I squeeze a half a lemon in my water each morning, which was a huge pain and mess until I ordered this! It is cute and small, and works perfectly. Gets the half very drained. Cleans so easily with no cracks. Nicely weighted. I do have to pick the seeds out of my drink with a fork afterwards, but it's pretty quick!
