Eg gifts Septum Mustache Septum Ring Nose Ring Black Over Surgical Steel (16g (1.2 mm))

The quality was fine...but my septum was pierced at a 16g, I haven't changed the gauge at all and it's been 2 years since I've had the piercing. I honestly thought since I occasionally tug on my septum ring that this would have naturally stretched out the piercing slightly. I put this mustache ring in, and honestly I could not get it to go through my septum because it was bigger, like more towards the 14g size even though my order was for a 16g. I even tried lubricating the ring to help it go through and it just was plain too large and I did not want to force it. I used to have my ears gauged to half an inch, so I've gone through ear gauging plenty of times and my septum definitely did not feel like the ring could just slide through. I didn't bother sending it back because it was on the cheaper side, but still, kind of a waste of money for me.
