Easy to fit
Great product, seems well made. After watching a YouTube video, installing it was pretty straightforward.

Excellent value
I bought this to replace a valve that was not working well. it was easy to fit and with careful reading of the instructions which are a little unclear, set it up to work fine having put a washer in the water supply pipe and some ptfe tape. The instructions show a pipe that connects to the valve which I was concerned about but needn’t have been; it is not required for a simple valve replacement. Flush to refill in under 15s.

Cheap, works, fiddly adjustments.
Cheap, works okay but is very noisy (we have high water pressure) when filling, and it shuts off with a bang sending shock waves through the pipework. Fitting it wasn't difficult, but it would have been easier if the rather poorly worded instructions had better described the 3 (three!) adjustments necessary. All in, okay for what you pay for it.

Worked well, happy with this product!
This product worked really well on our type of flusher. I had worried that the measurement was incorrect, however, when I installed it was quite straight forward and reasonably adjustable. It is a 0.5 inch tail, which means the hole in your toilet water sink should also be 0.5 rather than 1'' or 2''. This is something you need to look out for. Usually, if replacing an existing one, you need to measure the one you are replacing to know what size you need.

Works Well
Used to replace a similar device, which was no longer preventing water passing through. Fortunately someone had thought to put in a quarter turn valve directly beneath. Turned off , flushed toilet and with help of a mop bucket and beer syphon tube managed to drain the tank totally. If you dont have that use a plastic cup and an old towel to soak up the remains. Space was a bit tight here but managed to disconnect pipe and back nut and remove old fitting. It wasnt overly explained which washer went where , but I stuck the heavy rubber washer outside the tank. Worth noting that its best to tryt and make both connections loosely before tightening as this helps to line everything up correctly. Not quite sure what the little spout is for at top , because the water filled from the other side (perhaps an air vent ? ). Easy work using the extension to make same length as one taking out. Any way job done and it works a treat

Easy to install
I am not very good with installing this sort of stuff but even I managed it. After a month it is still working amd crucially no leaks. Very good price too.

Good product, I would purchase again
This unit was easy to install and has a solid bottom thread that goes to mains it should save splitting over time. Some of these types of products come with a plastic bottom thread and a plastic nut. I have realised this cna have issues due to splitting or thread issues. This unit came with good seating washers for inside the cistern and a nice brass washer and a further sealing washer,. this in turn gives a good solid seal from within the cistern and outside of it. the adjustment areas are very good, just a click and set type system. Also, the float sits well away from the cistern sides. with some of these products, the float that stops the water sits close to the cistern and can get stuck as the water level rises. For me, it has a low noise fill level as well. but remember if you have a stop valve you only need it half-open. It is always a good idea to only have any stop valves half-open. Do not use any plumbers mate and underwater and if possible use a sealer in joint nuts as you retighten. Always remember if you take the cistern off the wall it will detach from the lower pan. If you can replace the large doughnut washer that sits between the pan and the cistern. These can leak if the old one is used and always a good idea to put a new one on to save having to take off the cistern again and messing with the work you have done.. not related to the product, but just experience.
