Worked great.
It was a bit difficult to get out some of the old brush wheels, but other than that the rebuild was easy and has added new life to my chain cleaner. Not sure if it would be worth the price if you had to pay for shipping.

Makes an older cleaner work like new
Perfect fit (and less expensive than buying a new cleaner). I had one of the older designs that had the foam pad in it and that pad had pretty much turned to goo. This kit replaces all of the internal components and now it's as good as new, albeit a little scratched from years of use.

Nice quality replacement parts.
The kit seemed to be good quality and fit perfectly. My only issue with the kit was one of the rubber scrapers was missing. I just used the old ones to make it work.

Bristles came out after one use... Haven't heard back from FinishLine
Chain got amazingly clean, which was the goal. A lot of lubricant required to get it running smooth again, so if you are feeling that your pedaling is slow... you may want to add some more lube. My biggest issue with this is that the bristles came out EVERYWHERE... They got stuck in the chain and ripped out. I'm talking well over 100 bristles. It was a pain to remove them from the chain, which they had become stuck in, and to clean them up off of my balcony. I'm not sure if this is just a lemon, but completely unacceptable. I don't think I can even use it again. Super disappointed and I shouldn't have to pay another $12 for replacement bristles after ONE use.Reached out to FinishLine on 5/4 and then again on 5/8 for advice on how to proceed. Not sure if I'll buy another product from them, which is a shame... Off to ParkTool I go.I'll update if I hear back...

I like the design of the Finish Line chain cleaner better ...
I like the design of the Finish Line chain cleaner better than other brands because of the three brushes and scrapers. The rebuild kit brought the cleaner back to original condition and saved me from buying another cleaner at less than 1/3 the cost. Great kit.
