Do you need to wear gloves to keep from dying your hands?

No, it does not stain your hands. It's not a dye - just a shampoo and conditioner.

Would it stain marble?

No i do not believe so. The quality of this shampoo was not as good as the purple shampoo i normally use. It seemed to be much weaker.

Will it help with faded red hair color

Help in what way? It has made my hair brighter and shinier. I had a little purple dye in my hair and it has brightened it up. Hope that helps.

What does it smell like ?

It really doesn't have a smell. I stopped using it because it was irritating my scalp and my hair was greasy after one day. Not happy with product after using it for weeks.
