I just have to tell you this particular beef jerky is the best my family has ever eaten! Sooooo tender and delicious! We love Tillamook in general but this Old Fashion brand is the BEST! Quality in every chew!

Tastes good, but quite sweet
Nice flavor and the beef is reasonably tender. However, the number 2 ingredient is brown sugar, and it tastes like it...plus it is 1/4 sugar by weight!

This Beef Jerky is seriously tasty. The flavor hits that perfect balance of smoky and savory without being overly salty, and you can really tell it’s made with real hardwood smoke...it doesn’t taste artificial or processed. The texture is just right too: chewy but not tough, so it’s satisfying to snack on without working hard to bite through it. Every bite has good meat quality, and it feels like a premium jerky rather than something dry or flimsy. Great value to taste ratio!

WORST, grisly inedible
How does this get good reviews and who thinks it is too SOFT? This was absolutely terrible. I keep trying and keep spitting it out. I WANTED soft and tender because I like jerky but don’t like to work so hard for it. This is the HARDEST, most inedible jerky I’ve ever had. Even the pieces that seem soft are hard to rip apart and chew because they are almost all connective tissues and gritty crap that never breaks down. It’s awful. I have chewed the flavor out of most pieces but end up with a mouthful of junk I can’t actually chew and spit it out. Think worst, grisliest steak ever, then dehydrated to petrification. Huge waste of money on an already pricey product.

HOT! Some bits too tough. Great flavors , but the pepper makes it inedible. Sorry.
I would give a 5 star rating for this jerky if it weren't so hot. Also their awesome prices. I bought the honey-flavored one and received that one yesterday, unfortunately it's too hot to eat. NOT TVERYONE likes or can eat pepper bc of stomach issues and some just don't like a burning mouth. It's great jerky otherwise. I'll stick with usual brand from now on . Thanks to Amazon for always fast shipping and such a huge variety of EVERYTHING!

Tillamook Old Fashioned Beef Jersey is the cheapest all meat jerky currently on Amazon. Cheapest price per ounce but full flavor and quality. This isn’t some cheap tasting jerky, it’s quality. Don’t be fooled by cheaper stick jerky’s that have fillers. This is the real deal.
