After a lot of issues with the hardware in a kit for hanging a shade sail, I just decided to go for the strongest looking ones I could find and these are amazing so far. No little hook for anything to come off and allow the sail to fall, these have shackles with pins to stop anything from possible coming apart. Maybe even overkill but that’s never a bad thing when dealing with anything under tension. Haven’t had any issues at all since. These also let me adjust the tension a lot more than any others I’ve used. The cost seemed a little high but you can’t really put a price on piece of mind. Super sturdy, don’t think I’ll need to redo anything again unless the sail itself were to eventually fail from uv or direct damage.

Heavy duty good quality turnbuckles but didn’t fit my application. Powder coating looked good. Mine were missing a couple of cotter pins but easy to get at the hardware store for a few cents.

Great drawing strength, I found that it was easy to tighten in close quarters when I used a 10" adjustable wrench. My only issue with them is that though they advertised "exceptional rust resistance" mine have started to rust (threads mostly) on all six that I have had out in the mostly sunny last one month. I am a little concerned how they will fare long term.

Just the right thing. I received the tie downs the very next day that I ordered, they are very well made I am very pleased with how they fit where I wanted them, sturdy turn buckles , I had chains before but they alway came loose , with these I feel very good about them staying in place, I love em.

Sturdy and smooth to operate, I needed to bridge the gap and aply tension between two metal structures, which did the job perfectly, the paint also stood well after using metal toos, highly recommend
